Been several years since I have been to Biloxi but I liked Treasure Bay because of the paytables. Staff seemed friendly and I would spend a majority of my time playing there when I make it back to Biloxi some day.
Treasure Bay was my absolute favorite casino pre-Katrina, when the casino was a pirate ship!
These days, it's still a very player-friendly place with its good VP options, low table minimums, and good drink service. When I was there in July, the carny games were still $5. Last year, I even saw a $3 Let It Ride table. I make it a point to drop by at least once during my Biloxi visits. The only time I have stayed in the hotel was 15 or so years ago. It was nice then, but I have no idea about the current state of the rooms.
On our last visit, we had a nice meal at The Den, which is on the top floor and has great views of the gulf. The seating is tiered (similar to Top of Binions, if you have been there) so that every table has good views. I think their buffet always has crab legs, if that's important to you. We had discussed it, but decided we weren't hungry enough for the buffet.
Like @Brandt said, it is a small casino, even by Biloxi standards. It is also isolated. If you have a car, this is not a problem. But the Casino Hopper Trolley does not go there; so it is an Uber ride from any of the other casinos in the area.
Stopped by last month. Nice little casino. Very little VP to choose from. A row in front of the bar and a few bar top.
I was told by a couple regulars that there were some on the first floor, but they have since been removed.
Like Joeman said, we loved it pre-Katrina when it was on the water. We still stop in occasionally when we're on Beau junkets because they still have some of the older slots which are non-existant at the Beau. As someone else said, it's kind of divey but okay for a change of pace once in awhile.
