Travelzoo BLT Steak question

I have never used Travelzoo before, but they have a good deal I'm interested in.
Do you have to use the coupon like they describe or can we order what we want? It says start with poppers, share a side and a dessert etc. Do we have to follow that? Has anyone had any problems using this coupon?

We have used this coupon three times without any issues at all. Each time we were advised that we could use the amount of the voucher any way we wished. We look for this every time we're in Vegas. Great value and terrific service.

If this is in fact the case, this seems like a great deal to me...I might have to consider purchasing the coupon. Essentially you're getting a top-notch steak dinner (with alcohol permitted) for nearly half-price. Thanks for the insight Rodent Pack!

We had a similar experience. We thought it was a good deal. The sides were very small compared to other places we've been.

I'm sorry if I sounded like I was being stingy with this offer... I just didn't understand the details and didn't want to give anyone the wrong information. There's a voucher/coupon on travelzoo for BLT Steak... you pay $115 and get 210 to spend/ use for two for dinner. I was unclear if you had to follow how they have it laid out or if you can use it how you want.
From what others have said here, you can use it anyway you want which is awesome.

My wife and I used it on our last trip. The waiter immediately advised that the voucher covered the first 210 dollars for the meal. We didn't quite follow the plan, and ended up paying 40 dollars plus a 60 dollar tip, but the meal was incredible. That being said our dinners at Oscar's and Top of Binions were every bit as good and about half the price. Bill at BLT was 250 (40 plus 210 voucher) for 2 people. Oscar's was 4 people for 160 for 4 people (200 bill - 25% LVA cooupon) and Binion's was about 150 for people with the same coupon. Still I think that a total cost of 215 for a 315 dollar meal is a great deal and we would definitely do this again. I am currently trying to find a popover pan for my wife.

Did you have a preference between the downtown steakhouses? Looks like good deals all around!

Another deal to consider if you have the LVA book is Fuego at Fiesta Henderson. Their steaks (and seafood) are great but the popovers they have are even better. LVA has BOGO entrée coupon. We've been there more than half a dozen times and loved it every time. We always have a rental car, so no logistics issues. If you don't have a car then I'd probably stick with the BLT deal.
