Same for me (also coming from Seattle). The bleeding nose from being dried out sucks.

Geez Mike you forgot the pocket knife.

Returned from Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and a lady sitting across from me on the shuttle bus from the terminal to the parking lot, is digging around in her purse looking for her car keys and pulls out a large, I mean huge, pocket knife from her purse and laughingly comments to us - "oops, I forgot to put this back in my suitcase - I can't believe it made it through security"...

I'm the one on the plane with the Clorox wipes and face mask - for some reason that scares off seat mates or else it's the hacking cough which only seems to manifest itself on Vegas flights:wink2:

    Happy 30th Shoftiel!
Lucky you - hope it's the best ever! And remember there is a CVS or Walgreens every few hundred feet in case you need any of the stuff proposed here!

Besides what's been mentioned already, I always bring a beer bottle opener and a wine opener. Essentials.

I bring a hat for walking between casinos.........all my hair ran away. I also bring a night light for the bathroom, better in the middle of the night than that nasty fluorescent

For the plane I always have earphones and my Kindle and the usual things that live in my purse (Altoids, Excedrin, Zantac, Qlearquil, Lactaid pills, Benadryl -you never know when you might need them), USB battery pack. Plus cash in various denominations - enough for tips and whatnot. Some sort of jacket or sweater for the plane. And the rest of my luggage is stocked w/a filter water bottle, choices from my Vegas wardrobe, players club cards, passport (in case my ID has issues), extra contact lenses, and paper copies of all receipts - hotel, limo, MyVegas, Travelzoo, Groupon, JetLux, etc in case my phone has issues).

I have a list I keep in my nightstand drawer. My list includes: toothbrush that I put into a rolled-up sheet of paper, toothpaste, dental floss, small bottle of mouthwash that I keep refilling for each trip, small vial of cologne, deodorant, lip balm, hair spray, styling mousse, comb, medication and Advil which I put into one pill container, wallet (I take out the unnecessary cards if I fly, and I make sure I have enough "ones" for tip money [I told that to the bank teller once, and she told me she won't ask what the tips are for]), player's cards, hotel reservation info, iPhone and charger, watch, sunglasses, razor, checkbook and pen (to pay back by markers), watches, sunglasses with case, and clothes that I will wear on the trip there.

After my first trip to Vegas, I learned real quick to make sure I packed lotion, lip balm, and Simply Saline. Being from the hot, humid South, I did not realize how dry the desert really was!

And if I forget any of these, the first stop is Walgreens to get them!
