Well folks, another big season starts today!
Who will be the master of the track come November?
Well, we'll soon find out, because....

My fun run training starts this afternoon! :D
I'm looking forward to less contact and higher places this spring, summer, and fall!
I've no hood sponsor yet, but I feel that's just around the corner!

(Also, best wishes to those who follow stock-car auto racing!)

RICHARD

Daytona 500 I have::

Chevy to win race +150
Logano to win 9-1
McMurray to win 33-1
Jimmy to win 12-1
Jimmy top 5 +160
Logano top 5 +130
Keselowski over Jr -105

Fun money nothing serious

Love me some NASCAR........I have been fortunate to attend races at a few tracks, all different vibes.

First ever race was the Inaugural Vegas race.....made phat bank betting O/U on yellow flag laps. ( well, $500.00) Saw there were rain showers forecast and I guess the odds writers didn' t know the yellows were thrown for rain as well as wrecks.

Had season tix for Vegas for several years until the tide turned on attendance and you could get my same tix for half the cost on Ebay.

Also attended.....

Daytona 500
Phoenix
Bristol Fall races

I have a gambling strategy on NASCAR, the winners are often a result of marketing requirements for the NASCAR corporation. Maybe not fixed, but favored. For instance, Jr. being fan favorite gets a nod from officials. Patriotic/ military sponsors often get a nod on Memorial Day and 4th of July.

My theory this year is that Danile Suarez will get favorable calls as the only market NASCAR has to expand in to is south of the border and in to Central America. South America and Europe/Asia have F1 and find NASCAR a bit barbaric.

Also believe that Danica will garner favor as NASCAR is in need of female viewership. So, with this said, from a purely long odds point I would take Suarez at 25:1 and Danica at 100:1.

My favorite drivers are Martin Truex and Flyin' Ryan Newman.

OK.....off to a big 500 party at a friends.

I like your Chev to win and Logano top five for sure. Daytona is such a crap shoot, last nights Xfinity race was a mess.

Good luck.....I will be rooting for your picks today

TY Rusty I will need all the help I can get:beer:

The restrictor plate races are a true crapshoot and pure luck in the end

I had Larson @ 25-1...Win some lose some. Was pumping my fist in the air with a lap to go..
Half a lap maybe..

I avoid the Daytona 500 but do like to race sports cars at Daytona. It is not that far from where I live and I have known the Florida SCCA folks for years.
