    Day 5
Decided to make it a mellow good friday
As it was real nice outside i decided to go to the paris spa shortly(steamroom/sauna) and than to the Paris pool
    [IMG]

It was real nice outside sunny and warm(27 degrees celsius)

After a small hour i was ok to leave again and went to the paranormal show

I must say the 5 stars on yelp and travelzoo were deserved it was an amazing show which lasted somewhat over an houre

After the show i went to harrahs to sign up for the invitational pokertournament.

After this i stroke two flies with one stroke(dutch saying[emoji6] ) and went to the harrahs diamondlounge to get some food and drinks but i saw this sign
    [IMG]

Anyway i went in anyway as i saw three people get out and i was by myself, i got lucky and got seated in one minute

The pasta was below average so i only ate half of it and got me some salad
    [IMG]

To finish it of i didnt feel like dessert so i took a frozen magarita(sorry i already drank some of it when i made the pic[emoji6])

A frugal day and i think i wont gamble today( a little break is always good to stop the downfall)

Tomorrow is another day in Paradise and i will keep you guys posted

    Day 5 continues
Went to the linque to play some mickey mouse tournament
Who dealt me ? Whaduppppp!!! Its the Trooper[IMG]

I played reasonable well but just didnt reach a cashin( finished 4th, first three chopped)i could have knocked out earlyer 2 players had a/9 suited but folded( flop q 10 A which gave one of the two a straight so i thought good fold!!!) guess what turn and river was?
So sick(A/A) which had given me quads
Ohh well thats poker for ya

It was just by coincidence i was on my way back to ballys and as i didnt really wanted to gamble i thought well lets be frugal on gambling and do the 45$ tournament( with one re entry possibly) i saw the trooper dealing and later he dealt my table and during the tournament break i asked if i could take his picture.....i am following him on youtube now over a year .....we talked on the break( together with another las vegas local) and he is like in his videos a real nice and down to earth guy...he recognised me too as we are on fb

    Day 5

Today i went to the free invitational eastern pokertournament at harrahs

    The music was pretty good[emoji6]
Seriously it wasnt gonna happen, normally i like shortstacked turbo pokertournaments but i didnt get the cards and had the feeling to make some good bluffs either, i played pretty tight and just run out of chips

After this i thought well just play some tx hold m( my favorite tablegame) at harrahs
Big mistake and although i had some fun a couple of hours later my money was gone

Went back to my hotel and will have a quiet evening will have some snacks and drinks in my room

I will just take a little break from gambling and also this TR ( otherwise this will be a boring TR as well[emoji6])

Great report so far! I don't think a daily report is necessary but certainly do it if you want to! Just relax and enjoy your extended stay in our favorite city.

    I'll be following along!

Enjoying your report. Ross clued me in to it. He mentioned earlier that you weren't lucky n the tournament. I was rooting for you!! Heading to Ballys in about 3 weeks but not sure I would want to stay for 44 days!

Good stuff so far and looking forward to more! 44 days is a lot but I understand how it can be done. I've personally done 3 trips and each was for 14 nights and haven't felt like it was too long. If I lived within 3-5 hours from Vegas, then I'd do shorter trips but flying 15 hours one way for a long weekend sounds awful. All of you who go for 2-4 nights and go absolutely mental with very limited sleep, it's different. One day we can take it easy and hang around at the pool or take longer walks and stuff like that, no hurry whatsoever to do something or be somewhere etc. On another day we go berserk on the casino and sleep late if we feel like it.

Out of curiosity I have to ask, how much are you paying for 44 nights? Did you negotiate a deal or just book them like you would for a shorter trip?

I got an average deal on the hotelstay
Asked nicely to my host if he could get me a better deal as last time(4 weeks) he got me a great deal...and he came through ( didnt know that) when i checked in last week i was pleasantley surprised the total hotelbill( multiple reservations) was reduced significally[emoji3]
