TR June 17-22 Wynn and Bellagio Part 2

Day3:

Again we awoke too early…….Why is it you can’t sleep in while in Vegas?? We got showered and headed for a Latte at the drugstore in Wynn. I took my Latte and hit the floor for a little while, never really hitting anything while Dale went and played WPT, he didn’t win either and we met up at the Sportsbook at around 8 and decided we would pack up and head over to Bellagio as that would be our home for the next 3 nights. Packing up didn’t take long as we didn’t unpack everything, checked out over the tv and we were off. Pulled into Bellagio about 9:30 and I went straight for the front desk. Of course our room was not ready but we did get checked in so all we had to do on our return is pick up the keys. My FIL then called and was ready for breakfast so we went and picked him up and went to Bagels and More on Tropicana. We all had bagels and coffee then after a quick stop at Walgreens for a new contact lenses case and some rewetting drops it was off to Main Street Station. Played a little and won a little then back to Bellagio after dropping FIL off at Flamingo. Hubby went to the gym and I decided to play. Hubby had run into a member from his club at the spa and they wanted to take us to dinner on Wednesday we were hoping for Prime but more on that later. Couldn’t hit ANYTHING, a pair was all and that was only if I was lucky. After playing about an hour and half I decided to go to the room, I was freezing and just needed to lie down. Hubby called from the spa and said he was on his way up to the room and get ready for dinner. FIL wanted Steak for dinner and Dale has always wanted to try Smith and Wollensky so off we went. The last thing I wanted to do was go to dinner, I would have slept another few hours in the room if I could and probably should have told Dale to go without me!! We got to the restaurant and ordered, all was fine but halfway through my steak I needed to get out of there. It was all I could do to keep my head up and eyes open. My food was good and everyone enjoyed it, especially my father in law. Both he and I had the filet and Dale had the bone in rib eye. Sides were mashed potatoes, broccoli and spinach. Two glasses of wine and 2 sodas made up our drinks, we also had two apps. Total bill with tip was $278.
After dropping off my father in law at Flamingo we went back to Bellagio where we were supposed to be meeting our friends. We found them easily and told them I had to go to the room, though I did manage to play a tiny bit of VP with her before doing so. Made it up to the room at around 9 and I think I was down for the count by 9:10. Dale was sweet and wanted to go get me some gelato, but all I wanted was a glass of water and my pillow. I hate not feeling well in LV and knew if I didn’t get to sleep I would pay for it the rest of the trip!!!

 

I was going to ask you how the VP at the Bellagio was but from the sounds of things you weren't feeling too good. I hope you just needed rest and it didn't affect the rest of your trip.
