Went to Vegas Jan 8-12.
Checked out Palazzo. It still has that new casino smell. And that is not a good thing. There was an actual funk in there. Along the lines of Casino Royale or SoF, but not as strong. The waterfall was really cool.

Where did the Diablo Cantina come from? And whose idea was it to put it right smack in the way of the Monte Carlo entrance.

The Monte Carlo had the best drink service last week :thumbsup:
But the Sahara had the loosest craps. Thanks for the helping me double my money Thursday night Sahara. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I met Ron Jeremy in the Venetian. I did a double take on the escalator since he was behind me. He laughed and said "I get that a lot". I told him I would only admit to knowing him from the Surreal Life. Very nice guy. Had an extremely beautiful gal with him too. I was going to ask him for a picture, but figured that would be rude since he was so cordial just chatting.

Caught Big Elvis's show again. He appears to have slowed on the weight loss.

And I still can't find a Riviera shot glass to add to my collection.

And a special note to the Asian guy outside the stratosphere: If you are going to dress in drag, go ahead and splurge for a wig to complete the outfit.
 
I forgot to add: I tried the Spice MArket Buffet because of all the great reviews it has gotten. My take: Meh, the Bellagio buffet is still better.
 
Funky smells, neat bush, Ron Jeremy, loose craps and a drag queen.

As a connoisseur of fine funk, I'll have to check it out when I get there... tomorrow!

Great TR and loved the Pics. We'll have to check the Pallazio out when we're there in June.
 
I'm so checking out that fountain in April. Hopefully the smell is gone. I may even look for the drag queen:ssst:

I just got back and we also checked out Palazzo. I liked it quite a lot. But the smell was weird. My sister couldn't stop commenting on how much she liked it. That smell is not going anywhere...they're pumping it in just like the Venetian. Not the same smell, though. I can't describe it, but the inside of my nose was a bit irritated the whole time I was there.

The Palazzo looks kinda like a cheesy mall center location. Like how they try to spruce up the area around the food courts.
 
Thanks for the TR...nice. Ron must like Vegas (big shock); I also saw him there a couple of years back with CC Deville from Poison...both had hot chicks with them.

Not sure about this Palazzo yet...the waterfall looks pretty cool but aside from that it looks like a people storage place so far...maybe there's more to come?
 
Oh, and those tall evergreens near the waterfall/fountain area are nice and fake! most plants in the palazzo are plastic. I can't beleive for $1.9Billion they couldn't work in more real plants like wynn did. :rolleyes2:
