Breakfast at MC buffet. Free with coupons that came with rooms. Good but not great. Smoked salmon, mini bagels, cream
cheese, Chorizo and eggs, a fat sausage link very much like Virginia
has, and all the normal stuff.
Lazy River is cold. Adult pool is colder. GOOD, I was worried it would
be dusty from the construction. But it was great.
Lunch in the MC food court.
Casino time: tried two new table games: Crazy 4 Poker and Texas
Hold ‘em. Both OK. Preferred Crazy 4 Poker. Simple game.
Fun game.
Big money swings. See

Home at last.

Good trip. Really enjoyed lazy river and my shave. Enjoyed my casino time, but ended on a down note. Should have scheduled one more night in Sedona. Should have scheduled shorter driving days.

Thanks for the trip report Jack-retired, I hear you about the long driving days, we drive down from BC and are retired as well. I know most people fly to vegas as they have time constaints. Being retired a person can drive and enjoy the views, but putting in 10 hr days in a car can get to be a bit much. I need to cut the driving back to the 8hr area so we don't get so wiped, the wife does share the driving so I can get in a rest during the day. It is nice to have the car and to see other sights while we are down south.

We just love Sedonda, it is just the nicest area. Check out the Slide Rock State Park next time you are there.

So true! We used to live in Vancouver and took a couple of road trips to the southwest from there. We tried to limit the driving to 6 hours/day. Hell, the drive from Las Vegas to Reno is in itself a loooooong day...and when you get there you're not even out of Nevada!! ...endless desert... To break up the monotony we stopped in Fallon for awhile to watch the Top Gun pilots-in-training practice their touch and go manoeuvres...cool.

Nice trip report...I keep meaning to go see Sedona but when it comes time to book I go right to Las Vegas and hit the button:) I need to book multi-city and at least go there 1 time!!

Having made the drive to Vegas from southeast Louisiana at least three times, I know about the long driveing days. Haveing said that, the views along the way are marvelous in some places, and downright boreing in others ( I can only take so much nasty ( see chewed up ) cactus and rocky desert ). I guess the route makes a difference too.

Sirius Radio helps. Good Company helps. Was disappointed in the AAA on-line trip tick. Should have used my normal freetrip. Was glad I had book of hotels with me. Was disappointed that New Mexico had no "welcome" centers.

No comments on dealer blackjacks, I am amazed.
