    Trips to Las Vegas:
    20
    Day 3

Wake up nice and early and head down to the cafe vettro for a nice bloody mary breakfast. Ange meets us there, and the fool brings in his luggage to the cafe and tries to sit down. The hostess at the front attempts to explain that the bell desk is the area to store luggage but my hillbilly friend would rather argue failed logic then admit wrongdoing.... so I get up, bring him upstairs, drop his stuff off and back down we go. All the while Ange is trying to tell me that she had 'some nerve eh?'... All I could do was laugh. Breakfast was good, and I'm sure Ange got the spit this time and not me. We had 2 hours until check-out time so we decide to play a few rounds of VP and I'd play a couple slots since that seems to be the going thing this trip. After dropping 200 in this pinball machine it finally hits a quick bonus for 125 credits! That's a quick 425 dollar profit.... so I take that and we go sit down at some VP machine and try and recoup the cash lost there. After an hour of play, I broke even with the most painful straight flush available... the 9-K! Ange and Shorty did alright too recouping a bit of the nights previous losses at the BJ table.

We check out of the Aria and head over to the Palazzo. We were given an offer of a Queen/Queen Bella suite for 2 nights with 200 in freeplay, and we had only played there for maybe 2 hours last trip. So we scooped it up and used it as a good central base to gamble at the Wynn and Harrah's. We head to the Wynn early as this is our main gambling day together. We all sit at the VP machines and I hit another straight flush and a couple quads over the next few hours. Ange likes these CWs a heck of a lot more than poor old Arta. Shorty is just relaxing, smoking a nice cigar and enjoying the company. After VP we head to the sports book to drink beers and watch a double-header of hockey. Montreal won and Toronto lost, fantastic ending to both games!

We had an early dinner at Allegro and from there went to Harrah's where the debauchery continued. Being pretty sober all day we needed to fix this quick. We go to the high limit room and decide to throw some more money at the slots since they've been paying so well this trip.... and for every pull of the machine ($10-$15) we drink... So we tell the plan to the CW whom we tip a 20 right away to get the ball rolling and she's on board like white on rice. We stick in the first 100.... well 10 spins later we're at zero and an empty beer, however! Boom! CW shows up on queue with three more, therefore another 100 goes in! This continues for about 700 bones. Other rules got added along the way too. First to break the seal has to drink two shots of southern comfort (which if you don't know, is NOT comfortable), every time a hot chick walks by you have to stare and if you don't you get called a homo and have to drink a girly shot of the CW's choosing, lastly, if you used the word 'Money' or 'Cash' you drink.... imagine how hard that is when you're stinking drunk and trying to feed bills into the machine. Anyways, After Ange's two shots of Southern Comfort, Short's shots of a 'B-52', 'Orgasm' and 'liquid cocaine', and my shots of 'Fuzzy navel' and 'Barbie shot' we hit a bonus. We hit it good too, 1400 bones! Minus the 30% Screw you Canada tax grab equaled out to 980... fantastic. Made the cash back with 200 to spare...

So, it's 10pm, we're loaded, can't stand up straight kinda loaded, but riding high cause we won back all of our dough kinda loaded so we stumble back to the Parasol up bar at the Wynn where we are so loved and welcome. We find one of our new friends from the night before, 'Tina', whom I think is a woman, but I don't know for sure, and she introduces us to her colleagues and we all drink and shoot the shit for the next 4 hours. Again another easy end to the night. Tomorrow is our last day and I'm mostly on my own. The boys leave on the afternoon flight, so what will I do with myself....one word... Roulette! stay tuned!

Thanks for the laugh out loud on your adventures in the high limit room. Sounds like a great trip. Can't wait to see how this all ends.

Isn't holding 3 to the royal the correct play and not 4 to the SF?

In any case I'm enjoying your pics and antics, sounds like you had a killer time.

Love the rules in the HL slots. Will definitely be using some of those on my March Madness trip with the boys.

Damn skippy! The actual shot was up to our CW whom was the 'chooser' we just said it had to be girly. She got a kick out of us though, she ran out of shooters off the top of her head. Had to keep asking the bartender!

Also, if you're up north here and you're not drinking either beer or whiskey, it's girly.

We have the same rule down here in Texas. I'm pretty sure most Australians concur with this opinion too.

    Day 4

Woken up at 4am is never a good thing…. Unless you’re in Vegas. I was sound asleep and all of a sudden Shorty bursts in the door waking Ange up on his cot saying “Dude! It’s 4, if we don’t start drinking now we’ll never be sober in time for the flight.” Having only gone to bed 3 hours prior the logic seemed sound. Ange kicked me in the side and yelled “Wake up pansy it’s drinkin time!” If I disagreed, I would have definitely been forced to drink the girly drinks today. We get down to the Palazzo casino floor around 430 and it’s dead. Deader than dead. Like a rapper driving a Maserati kinda dead. (too soon? Ah well.) So we book it out of there, heading down the strip just looking for a casino that’s hopping. We head over to TI. Not usually a big fan, but they had some mud wrestling event earlier that night and all the guys and the chick wrestlers were still out and aboot. All three of us head to a craps table that’s just got enough open spaces for us to squeeze in. It’s the middle of the roll and we just throw down a new nickels for the hardways while we’re waiting to set a new point. Well don’t ya know but after 3 hard 4’s and 3 hard 10’s, I’m up a quick 500 bones. The boys are laughing too cause they copied the bets and the dealers were laughing cause after the first hit I threw a nickel for each of the hards for them! The problem was that although we were winning we were sober, so we decided to take off after they seven’d out.

We head to the breeze bar and plop in some 20’s to the bartops. And start drinking…. I never caught his name but he looked to be a Sri Lankan guy, boy, a good bartender. We started with Gin (Bombay) and tonics and it was all free pouring! 100 bucks down and 3 drinks in I’m already liquored. We again head out cause it was kinda slow and head out to the Wynn. Why are we always back there…. Nothing good happens when I’m liquored and at the Wynn.

We arrive and head to ‘Le bar’ at the back again and start drinking our whiskey proper now. Mccallen 12’s going down like it’s coming out of style. 7am rolls around, down another couple hundred on the bartops and sufficiently hammered. We go to the Wynn Buffet for breakfast and I fell asleep after the 2nd plate. I was awoken by the server whom brought me a coffee while doing so. That’s service! About 8:30 we head back to the casino. I hadn’t been lucky at roulette yet and I was in no position to play a game of skill so I go to the high-limit room and start playing my game. I put 25 down on the following numbers: 4,8,9,10,15 with another 25 split between the 8/9, 8/7, and the 17/20 (in honour of Nate.) I was willing to play 5 spins at the 200 a spin. I got the CW to bring over another proper whiskey, gave her a 20 to boot saying to keep it coming, 1 shot per dude per spin, she laughed and agreed. The boys, that was a bit much for their blood so they put 100 on various reds or blacks I didn’t keep check. First three spins, nada. Fourth spin, 15. Boom. 875. Pocket the purple and keep going throwing an extra 25 on the 15 for good measure and you’d think I had Royal Flusher’s luck cause Boom! 15 hits again, back to back. 1750. F’in Eh! I make a Whoopin’ sound that sounds like a Canadian caribou in head I swear! I pocket the yellow chip and get the rest to keep playing. I last another 45 minutes and 15 shots later I have to leave…. Couldn’t stand up properly anymore. Tipped the dealers and CW a black each, and left with approx. 2k profit at the end of it. The other boys I think had a 200 dollar profit each since black came up 4 times in a row or something and they play the streaks.

We head back to our room at the palazzo where I crash and when I wake up I have a note scotch taped to my chest. It reads: “You lush, we’re gone, thanks for good trip, see you at work.” I look at the clock and it’s 8pm. I was out for awhile. I head out solo, bankroll intact, to the Wynn yet again and sit at ‘Le Bar’ playing VP and drinking coffee and bailey’s for the rest of the night while hitting up the buffet solo for dinner. I go back to the Palazzo around 1am and crash for the evening planning on what to do with my last day in Vegas before the red-eye alone.

    Total bankroll: +2k
    VP: -2.5k
    craps: +500
    Slots: +2k
    Roulette: +2k.

Makes for easy math, and sorry for the lack of pictures this go around, didn't hit anything on VP or slots!

Great report. When the numbers hit, that feeling is good. You must have had to do some serious training to get that good at mixing alcohol and gambling!

Hah, the training is growing up in a town in Northern Ontario with a population of about 10,000. Not much else to do in the frozen wasteland of winter except destroy one's liver!
