So are players not allowed to touch their cards at all on the carny games?

I’m curious how something like Pai Gow Poker will work if the player can’t touch the cards. There are decisions to be made, do they just tell the dealer how to set it?

I can see the cards being turned over by the dealer in Pai Gow and the player telling the dealer if they want them set different than the house way. That way the player wouldn't touch them.

At Caesars properties you can touch the cards and chips just like you normally would. No difference. Caesar’s properties has no plexiglass up so you must wear a mask if you are playing but not mandatory in the casino. MGM properties have plexiglass up on every game so you don’t need to wear a mask while playing.

The Golden Nugget did not allow players to touch the cards on their Pai Gow game yesterday. The dealer set the hands according to house way but the players could play it differently if the chose to. I didn’t play long because it just wasn’t fun not being able to pick up the cards.

I'm hoping that when Cromwell comes back, that you can still touch the cards for their DD BJ pitch game. That's probably 50% of the reason I go to Vegas in the first place lol.
