This might be a really stupid question

I was trying to figure out why neither my husband (platinum) nor I (gold) have received any "slot dollars" in the mail for ANY CET properties, in... like forever

I googled "Total rewards free slot play" and came across the "Total Touch" information,
Redeem Free Slot Play and More
Bypass the lines and redeem your coupons right at your Total Touch console. Make sure you sign up to receive coupons and offers by e-mail now!

Does this mean that the reason we haven't seen them is because we never signed up for the e-mails?

As a gold card holder (we play mostly in Atlantic City) I am still getting mailers with pretty good offers for $$ for table games, but strangely, never for the casino in which I mostly like to pay BJ... always for another CET property (I don't get that)

Also, (another stupid question) my husband wants to know who I'm "giving favors" to in Atlantic City, because when he books weekend rooms with his Platinum card, the room price sometimes doesn't budge from the "non-card holder" rate, but then when he adds my TR card as a companion, the rate drops to either REALLY low (like $29 a night on a weekend) or totally comped for the night

anyone know what gives with that?
(because I am certainly not giving anyone in AC any "favors" if you know what I mean)
    :peace:

I think they put all of their promotional money into this game and things will change back to normal after may 31

Its definitely normal to have the rates go down significantly after entering a companion card number. I'm a gold member and when I enter in my girlfriend's card number (also gold) pretty much everything but weekends comes up as comped.

i get coupons from the closest casino to me (Cherokee), but my Vegas offers are all in emails. They generally never sent coupons before, maybe just some 2 for 1 offers or food coupons. Cherokee tightened up hard on offers to me, but i dont play much with them anymore. You can see all of your offers online, even the ones they mailed, so if it isnt there I dont think it would exist anywhere else. The total touch looks cool, but i think it is more of a way to redeem offers than to tell you that you have offers.

    aha, I see

which means that we just haven't been getting anything for slots lately
    (bummer!)

When we play slots, we both play on his card.... (how do you think he got to platinum? we're LOW rollers) I'd think they'd throw him a few bucks here and there just to entice (but we do get room offers)

I got a mailer for June, that had a few slot coupons in it, for $5 on week days... you'd think it'd go to him, since his card is in the slot machines and mine is at the tables
I don't think I'll ever really figure out the CET/TR comps

Slot play offers are tied your ADT - avg daily play. If you have some low play days, it will bring your avg down, and your free play offers as well.

As to getting better room deals when entering a 2nd number. It could be just because they now have two players, or the ADT of the second person is better. Assume you tried with just each number to see what you get, right?

As to being a stupid question - no it is not. The subject line... well, try to be more descriptive so folks can help out.
