    My Trip Report

recently stayed at thehotel after three nights at the orelans. got a great rate sunday and monday $175 after the delahoya fight weekend. best hotel we stayed at. three plasmas in the room, able to check in at 1:00, wet bar, living room great bathroom with jacuzzi tub, a real winner. ate at top of the world a little disappointed after a $250 bill, food was good, not great served warm not hot by excellent servers. also ate a mon am gambi, it was great the best onion soup ever and also had graveyard steak and eggs at the orleans for $2.95 which was very good at 3am on thursday night. nothing like having steak and eggs with a heineken at 3am. saw three shows, billy idol at Mandalay Bay, fab four at the las vegas hilton, too bad this show is closing it was great, and an elvis sub for impersoantor steve connelly downtown at fitzgeralds. great flights, on time both ways on jet blue. all in all a great trip, of course we made our daily contributions in the way of gambling losses, but all in all not too bad with the losses.

Sounds like you had a great trip. TheHotel at Mandalay sounds nice. One of our waiters while we were out there raved about it as well. May have to check it out one of these trips..... Added benefit of the Moorea Beach club....!!! Yup, have to get there one of these times! [IMG]

    wam,
One thing about your TR - you get right to the point and don't mess around.
It's also apparent you're not afraid to throw a little change around.
    Did you attend the fight?

too expensive. got great rate at orleans, 49/79/79 and the rates at thehotel were also midweek. could not afford the weekend rates at thehotel. like to get to the point chef, no need to waste anyone's time.idol's tickets 53 a piece and fab four at half price was the bargain of the year. i hope they resurface and i am not a real beatle fan unlike my wife of 28 years. can't wait to get to vegas again real soon.

YES! some feedback on The Hotel! I am actually going to dish out the money to stay there in Dec..this in-room wet bar..are the drinks expensive? Are they the usual 4- bucks- for- a- beer? Are they free? [IMG] What else can you tell me about the room? Ill be staying in their King Suite, is that were you stayed?

did not buy from the wet bar, i would assume expensive. not free. room was king suite, corner, great view. marvelous bathroom, shower and jacuzzi tub, twin sinks plenty of amenities, including scale etc. three plasma tv's, one in the bathroom, just an unbelievable place. what are you paying. we got a rate of $159 midweek special. i believe the going rate is way over $300 per night. use the west valet area to get to thehotel entrance and the valet for thehotel is great as well. you will really love this place
