    Yes, that's right! $945 x 9 (corrected. . . not 81)

    3 wolfs - x3 multiplier - wolf - x6 multiplier - 3 wolfs

$8809 was the final total. I'm gonna hit the sack. I'll fill in the details tomorrow.

It's actually smaller than the one in Tahoe that I hit two weeks ago, also on a penny Wonder 4 Tower.

OK, so here's the full TR, it was 2.5 days

This was a GGWU bonus event, and I was getting 84,000 GGWU points (about $280 worth)

So, yesterday night I had debated about writing a TR, nothing eventful happened, and the gambling wasn't so hot.

I took an early flight, and upon landing had errands to run.

    1) pick up host gifts at Jinju Chocolates at the Rainbow Rd store

    2) a meeting with a representative the Casino Chip & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club. Their annual show is in a few weeks and they needed some Silver Strikes for the 2016 Strike of the Year display.

That being completed, I though I could check in early and get settled and start my day. I tried to check in at noon but was told that my room wasn't ready yet.

Normally, I would have taken any room available, but I recalled that my host had reserved a suite for me, so I checked in my bags, and went to start my gaming day.

After about 10 minutes, I decided to eat lunch at the Noodle House at the Fulton Street eateries.

I had a bowl of Duck noodles.

    upload_2017-6-7_21-6-30.png

Following lunch, I resumed play, and had my 1000TC day done rather quickly and was "ahead of schedule".

So, regarding what "schedule" is for me. I am pretty much a "pure" slot player.

Over the last three years, I have determined that TCs typically typically cost $1 per to acquire. Anything above that is "ahead" and anything below that is "behind".

I was only slightly ahead for my first 1000TC. At that point, at that time, I made a decision to go for a 2500TC day considering that I still needed lots of TC if I was going to renew 7*, and I was still "ahead" from my last trip to Tahoe.

Well, things didn't get much better after that. I went to the Linq, Flamingo, Cromwell, and even over to Caesars, nothing big, and just enough to keep me from quitting.

So, by 3:00PM I had completed my 2500TC day, and was slightly behind.

I was finally able to check in, and I was assigned to the 35th floor of the Valley Tower, the "all Suite floor".

Sorry, no pictures, because I was a little grumpy having started off the trip on a negative note. The suites are spacious and very nice.

So, having checked in and not having my regulary scheduled "old guy" nap, I met up with my BFF. He was there with his wife for the first day of the trip. She went over to the Bellagio Museum of Fine Art.

Les came over to Harrahs we went to renew his 7* companion card at the TR desk.

I had a friend from work who was in Las Vegas working a show, and I arranged to take her to dinner Monday and Tuesday night. She is married and younger than me, and I will refer to her as "A".

Les and his wife had other dinner plans, but we were all riding the High Roller after dinner.

"A", was staying at the Palazzo and didn't have a car, so I picked her up and showed her where the optimal pickup spot was at Palazzo, the 2nd floor of the self parking garage.

We ate at Herringbone, and the meal was paid for with mLife gift cards (you remember those, right)

We ordered the small "cold plate", called "the dinghy" 4 oysters, king crab, and lobster.

    upload_2017-6-7_21-7-29.png

    I ordered the Sea Bass

    upload_2017-6-7_21-7-54.png

    "A" ordered the Poke,

    upload_2017-6-7_21-8-21.png

The dinner was very good, but IMHO, not worth the price. $165 with no alcohol.

Dinner finished, we went to the Linq tomeet Les and his wife to ride the High Roller. It was my 5th time riding, and thank God they changed the videl that they were showing the first 4 times. It was dark, and the skies were clear. The line was about an hour and a half long, but Diamond and 7* have a "cut line" which allows them easier access.

The High Roller was finished, and I dropped "A" off, and went to the hotel to sleep.

I have to check with my host on who "does" the amenity package. This time, I got an "asian themed" amenity package.

Tuesday. Got up at 6AM and met Les at the Rio. He had dropped his wife off at the airport. We played slots to make our 25TC day, and I ended up $500, a nice start to the day.

Had breakfast at Hash House -a- gogo. Had the meat loaf hash, very good, but just too large a portion.

We went to Bally's so I could get in my 25TC day there. I played the 2X machines, and 50TC cost me about $29.00. Les left to attend a work meeting, and I stayed and played a little more. Nothing good.

The Silver Strike event is in late June, and I won't be attending. I have a friend meet a friend who was picking up my $300 Silver Strike in June to give him 30 clear cap strikes and some money to buy red/blue sets. He was working a Jewelry show at the LV Convention center, so we met at the Westgate.

10AM, I decided to take a short break and go see Wonder Woman at the Century theaters at the Orleans.

Wonder Woman was a very good movie. However, check-in for SWA occurred during the last 15 minutes, so I had to skip it. Eventually, I checked in and was assigned B-30.

I went back to Harrahs and "took out" from the noodle House. This trip I was preserving RCs for promo chips in Lake Tahoe, and we were eating at mLife venues, so there was no need for rear end comps, I paid cash for all my noodle house meals to accumulate RCs.

After lunch, I took a nap, as I was scheduled to meet Les at about 4PM at PH.

So, we decided to meet at PH. I got to PH first and went to the $16 Wonder 4 machine, and quickly lost another $3-400.

Les arrived and we played some, and then we split up. I decided to sit down to play a Timber Wolf Deluxe machine.

I got the bonus and selected 12 games with X3 on the second reel, and x6 of the 4th reel.

    Then, it hit!!!!

3 wolves - 3x - wolf - 6x - 3 wolves, I knew it was a biog one, just like the WEicked WInnings II that I had hit 2 weeks ago in Thaoe.

    upload_2017-6-7_21-40-41.png

It turns out that it scored as 5 wolves x 18 x 9, or $945 x 9, or $8505. I called Les on my cell phone, but he was in the middle of 115 free games on the panda stack game.flatiron

The W-2G was $8809, and I asked for $4000 in a check, which took time to process. $8900 and change. Les finished his free games. I told him to come over because I had something for him. It is out habit to "chon gee" each other when we hit something big, and I "chon geed" Les $100. I also tipped the slot attendants $40.

On a side note, I asked the slot attendant how much they made in tips, and he said that they split tips twice a month,a dn it's between $800-$1000, so $1600-$2000 is the amount.

We split up and left PH. I was to pick up "A" for dinner and Les would meet us at Camelot Steakhouse at Excalibur.

I "chon geed" "A". She was very grateful, because her luck hadn't been so good.

So, apologies in advance for no pictures of the meal. After a large hand pay, my brain gets a little "fuzzy" and I don't always do what needs to be done.

Camelot Steakhouse is on the second floor of Excalibur. I was using a $100 off of $200 spend comp, so I told "A" and Les to "order up".

I ordered two appetizers, 1/2 dozen Oysters and crab cakes.

"A" had a flatiron steak, I had the 12 oz. prime rib, and Les had the rib eye. I ordered side orders of mushrooms and asparagus. Now Les and my M.O. is to bring food home from the "last night" dinner.

In fact, I'll be eating the remaining Prime Rib tonight for dinner, and my son will eat "A's" leftover flatiron, she didn't have a refrigerator and was staying until the end of the week.

So, the check came to $188, I needed to order an additional item, so I asked the waiter what I could order. He said I could order a bottle of wine for $30. That made the check large enough to qualify for the comp, and for comps they don't charge tax. I paid the actual charges (after the $100 deduction) with mLife gift cards.

Les and I had planned to go downtown, and I apologized to "A" for not inviting her to go along, and I dropped her off at Palazzo.

We went downtown, but because I had won "enough", and wanted to make sure that I was taking most of it home really didn't feel like playing anymore.

I apologized to Les for being a "party pooper", but I've been gambling with him for about 40 years, and he understood. I just wanted to go back to Harrahs and finish my 1000TC day, then go to bed.

So, I went back to Harrahs, completed the 1000TC day, went to the room and started on this TR.

I laid down at 12:45AM, but something was bothering me. As you may or may not know, Venetian/Palazzo has made the decision to eliminate their Silver Strike program. They were leaving the Silver Strike machine at Palazzo until all of the Silver Strikes were gone.

When I picked up "A"., I noticed that there was a blue cap left in the machine, near the bottom. I really wanted that silver strike. So I got up at 1:45AM and went over to Palazzo. There were two turrets that had strikes, and in one of them, at the 6th position was the blue cap. I had a $98.00 ticket, and sat down to play. Eventually, on the 11th Strike, I got the blue one.

OK, cashed in the 11 other strikes and went back to take a quick nap, since I was going home that day. Hit the sack at 3:15.

Woke up at 6:00AM and called Les. He asked me to call him back after I took care of paying off the marker at CP, and mailing my package. So, I went to CP. CP in the morning is very easy, since the valet parking is pretty empty. So, I paid off the marker, and then went over to the post office on Sunset to mail a package that had several things that I coldn't/didn't want to take on the plane. A large flat rate box is "only" $18.45 to ship and at my house in 2 days.

So, after that, I went back to the room and packed to leave. Les suggested that we meet at Westgate sportsbook at 10AM. I went downstairs to the Diamond/7* check-in and gave red envelopes the cute VIP Hospitality hostess that I had a crush on, and a red envelope for her to give to my casino host. Went down to the Westgate sportsbook.

So, now Les is "goading" me on to put down some "fun bets" on the Warriors vs. Cavaliers game tonight. I told him that I would bet $110 on 2 or 3 bets. As it happened, I won all three. I bet:

Warriors and over 226.5 ($66 parlay won $171.60)
Klay Thompson total points over 17.5 ($22 bet won $20)
Stephen Curry over 4.5 Free throws ($22 bet won $15.70)

So, I have an additional $317.30 for my next trip. Les won all 8 of his fun bets.We also put some bets down on UFC. We bet the two Korean fighters.

We went over to Lucky Dragon to eat. Pearl Ocean opened at 11AM, and it was only 10:30, so we ate at Bao Now, the 24 hour eatery there.

    http://luckydragonlv.com/dining-bao-now/

Les and I had a bowl jook (Chinese rice porridge) each Jook is $2.00 but you can add "duck or chicken" for an addl. $2.50, be advised that it's a very small portion of duck, just enough to flavor the very bland rice porridge. We also had char siew bao (BBQ pork inside bread) and pot stickers.

Les continued to "goad" me into playing slots, so I succumbed and we each put in $50 to play a Wonder 4 Jackpot machine. We didn't hit any bonuses and cashed out for $12.50.

Les dropped me off, and I put gas in the car and went to the airport. I "bought" my way up to A9 for $30. It was a reward for my luck.

This has so far been much better this year was than last. My focus on GGWU has so far "paid" off.

In 2016, I had eight W2-Gs for a total of just over $15,000. This year, to date, I have had three W2-Gs for almost $20,000, a much better year.

Next trip will be the August GGWU event, as soon as they announce the dates, the the 7* Signature event in Las Vegas.

    Thanks for reading.

    Nice report!

So between the two of you, you went 11 of 11 on sports bets tonight? Wow.

Congrats again on that huge jackpot!

So when you say it costs about $1 per TC at slots, you mean the median result, right? Where about half the time it costs you more than $1, and half the time less?

Yes, 11 for 11, but we (I) didn't post how I lost on a much larger bet previously in the playoffs. (against Utah, when I bet another parlay and the Warriors didn't cover, as they didn't for the most of their first 12 wins in the playoffs.

Yes, over the three year period (small sample size), but this year, through 80k+ TCs, I am up, $ wise, so that kind of offsets the big losses in 2016.

Nice work! I've never earned a W2-G, but does it make sense to accumulate the ones you have and pay at tax time? My buddy hit for a jackpot at CP last summer and paid the taxes at the casino so he didn't have to bring the W2-G home for his wife to see.

    Does this happen often?
