Every visit our group picks out a kitschy thing to do or see in Vegas. This trip it's a stop at CC and we have resv. at The Steakhouse. I cannot find any menus with prices on them. I've heard good things about it but it wasn't my first choice(I was out voted 4-1). Anybody know where I can find a menu with prices on it? Mlife sites only post menus no prices,

CC is one on the last few old style steakhouse.{ Bally's Steakhouse} Been a few years since I was there but it use to be ut go to steak. Back in the day it was very good. Would like to hear a recent visit on how it is.

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus has very good food. Frankly, better food than some other strip places with more of a name, and higher prices.

This recent practice of removing prices from MGM Restaurants is part of Jim Murren's "Profit Growth Plan" to increase prices at periods of high demand. Really sucks and is very annoying. But you should enjoy the Steakhouse, very dark and clubby with paintings of prize steer on the wall. All meals are accompanied with a salad, potato and veggie, none of that a-la-carte nonsense. I think the prices in the attachment are a little light, but for what you get it's a good deal. On my last visit they had happy hour with half priced drinks at the bar, can't tell if it's still offered because it's been removed from the website.

Edit, I just saw the photos of the menu on Vegasbright, I forgot the Steakhouse offers a sharing charge of $17, which includes soup or salad, potato and veggie. A nice option.

Has anyone actually seen this in practice, gone to the same MLife restaurant and paid different prices for the same meal? I've seen this said many times, but no one has been able to offer proof of the big bad corporation taking advantage of us in this manner.

Then why would MGM remove menu pricing from every restaurant? Why do waiters at your local place stand there and recite the daily specials for each table and not hand out a printed list? Most people don't ask but eventually find out when its time to pay the check. It has been my experience that if you have to ask the price, it's usually too expensive. You gotta make hay while the sun shines, and right now all metrics are close to the all time high of 2007.

MGM Resorts hired a consultig company to help analyze pricing vs. demand at its retail stores, why would they not employ the same practice at its restaurants?

These bean counters fail to realize that you can shear a sheep many times but skin it only once.

Here is an article from vegastripping about surge pricing at a Bellagio bar.

It used to be really good! Last two times we went it was okay. I'd love to hear some recent feedback!

thumb_600.webp An oasis in what is otherwise an awful property. Definitely old school and worth the trip. My only knock on the place are the sides. Compared to say The Palm they're pretty basic.
