    I've Got The Blues...

    The Slow Royyyyal Bluuues...

Slow royals can happen. No royal for 115,000 hands. Nada. Nothing. And then, while grinding away on a stupid 6/5 machine to get called for a promotion, the Slow Royal Blues ended when I drew the queen of hearts. That's the good news. The bad news: it was a 1,500-coin royal. The terrible news: the progressive was at $12,000 for a $5 bet.

Has anyone else had the Slow Royal Blues?

I ended a 4 year (I'm guessing 6-700,000 hand) drought in March. Fortunately, I did so at the high end of my betting range:

Nice way to break a drought.

Still waiting on my royal after 25 years. Just got back from playing many hours of nickel Bonus Poker at South Point every night, only got 4 Aces twice and several other 4 OAKS. Turned $5 into $10 several times and generated many points, but once again, no royals.
