We would consider it based on the dates. However I lost my ass on the last trip and swore I would never come back. I don't think I have ever had that bad of a beat down playing VP. The meet up was really fun though.

I would love to get back to Atlantic City, but doesn't look good for us Canadians trying to cross the border. My Atlantic City air charters from Toronto for April and May were cancelled, and now the June 17-20 has been cancelled by Caesars as well. Crossing my fingers for a July trip, pretty much to anywhere at this point. If I can be there for the meetup for sure I will!

Due to cancelling travel plans I am now available all summer. I plan on attending any summer meet. Hell, I'm there every week, anyhow! When are they opening?...I have to make sure my gas tank is full.

    This event is definitely on.

We are just waiting on Atlantic City reopening dates to further the planning.

I would be interested as well depending on the chosen date. I live just outside of philadelphia on the NJ side.

@nancyf , a lot of us live just outside Philly on the NJ side. I'm near Washington Twp. 15 minutes into Center City, 50 minutes into AC. I believe Pennsauken, Williamstown and Cherry Hill are all represented on the board.

I'm in Maryland, a 3 hour drive if you don't stop. I am comped the weekend of June 26th at Caesars. I never get comped on weekends, so if they're open, I will take advantage of it.

I'm totally down! FWIW I work every Friday night, off every other Saturday night. So, with saying that August 8th or 22nd would be amazing ( or any Saturday night that is on that schedule ;) ).

I'll be much better behaved this time ;)

Thought I’d try to revive this conversation now that we are presumably closer to some sort of reopening in AC.

I know better than to speculate, but I will comment that I’ve seen less info about AC than any other gambling destination in the country. Seems every day there’s a new set of guidelines issued by a state or reopening plans put forward by a casino company, not so much when (which nobody knows for sure) but how it can occur.

Here’s hoping we can gather soon, even if only for a socially distanced cocktail. I’ve watched nearly every slot channel on You Tube by now and I’m running out of new material to view.

@VPDeuces , NJ is the most densely populated state in the Union. The amount of virus, per capita, in this state is high and Gov Murphy is taking it very cautiously in reopening. Even the population here is generally very aware of using masks in public and social distancing. It is unlawful to enter a public space or business without a mask at this time, little kids, too. It's not an 'optional' thing. Casino openings aren't until Stage 3 of the opening. We are about to go to Stage 2 of the opening (the public able to enter all stores though only for ordering, no eating in restaurants yet) so it will be a while. NJ has good reason to be a bit more cautious than most other states.

I don’t think AC opens until July 4

Probably going to sit this out even though I bought tickets to see Rod Stewart for Wifeys birthday August 8 Feeling kinda skittish about large gatherings even after I had Covid, recovered and donated my blood since antibodies were over 960. Just don't want to go through that again as I am in the target group of over 60 with lung issues. Will really have to see what transpires with states opening up
