Well, the LF’s requests clearly must be (and have been) met!

    you’re a good dad. Bravo.

edit: as someone who will never (thankfully and by choice) have children, I live vicariously thru your adventures with him. I make an amazing Guncle to my nephews, and that’s enough for me. :)

Nap mode is my favorite and I hope he’s dreaming of fun Pirates (and that damn song is stuck in my head now), enjoy FB, they make a nice cocktail at that center bar if you’re feeling parched.

Thanks. Signing for the credit line now. Club Solo is open but no tables dealing anything. Going to head over to the main high limit

Best of luck to you and the family this week. Thank you for all of your well thought out updates. And I'm very sorry our teams didn't meet in the final four this year.

Spot on... Glad to read you caught yourself "deviating" from your money/betting management strategy and got back on course... Looking forward to the FB details...

I have no team. They are dead to me now. Of course, I said the same thin two years ago before this year's squad sucked me back in

So here is the afternoon update:

The little guy fell asleep on the wa back from CC. So even though I had jsut walked to tht aea and back, I dropped him in the room and walked back to FB to resolve my ongoing credit line saga. The good news: it is resolved. I met a host in their office and she got my paperwork ready for signature and then asked if she could get me a players card. I said sure. She mentioned the status match and as I recehed for my Noire card, she started telling me about the benefits etc. I showed her my card and she said, "oh, you will match to our highest level." She started to tell me about those benefits and I politely waved her off and said nto to worry about it, I always work out what I want with my host in advance of a trip and don't worry about my tier level. She then became noticably quieter and said "so you're a real player." I just chuckled and said thanks ... I think.

With a new line and a new card, I headed out toward the high limit room ... and got lost. I swear, that place is a maze. It really shouldn't be considering the open floor plan design. But there are too damn many curved walls and terrible signage. Finally, I found the room, sat down at a BJ table, and asked for a 20k marker.

FB uses the same electronic marker system that RW uses. It took longer than usual to get my marker because apparently someone assigned me a pin number without ever talking to me about it. I had no idea what it was, lol. But everntually they got everything squared away.

Dealer was super friendly and I enjoyed talking to her. She asked very detailed questions about my betting strategy/style and provided me a couple tips I had not considered (or had not considered much) for playing going forward. Very glad I waited for the marker I played half a shoe and it got hot! I was just playing purple chips and when I finished, I was up over 7k. So I colored up, thanked the crew, and headed for the cage.

As for my gambling thought process during this session, it was pretty straightforward. I was planning a hit and run just to make sure eerything worked with my credit line and so that I can call my host in the near future and talk about what she can do for me if she wants me to stay and play there later this year. So once the hot run ended, I stopped. Its that simple. I never intended to play for any legnth of time there, so may as well quit while I was ahead.

    A few other casino observations:

*All the staff is exceedingly friendly. It was the same last time I popped in a few months ago.

*The place was till dea. I would estimate it had the same number of gamblers I saw during my last visit a couple months ago. But relatively speaking, that may mean things are better because today was a Tuesday lunchtime and last time was a Saturday. Despite the absence of players, the casino had more energy because they were playing livlier music and there were more people hanging around the various bars

*Drink service in the high limit was fine. I ordered one drink which was served promptly.

*Only spent a little time in the high limit room, but I suspect I would rank it in the top half of my high limit room rankings list from a couple years ago. Its very big and everything is still shiny and new. I also like that there is a bar in the room as well as its own high limit cage.

So, no idea what the future will hold for me at FB. That will probably depend greatly on what the host does for me. But I liked what I saw today

After FB, and being a glutton for punishment, I popped into RW on the way back to Wynn. The fourth circle of hell was not as hot as usual, probably because they had a surprisingly decent crowd that must have been uscking up all the brimstone. The casino was still much less crowded than Wynn, but it was a verifiable madhouse compared to the crowd size at FB.

I took out a quick marker at a BJ table (after the usual pain in the ass opening of the line hoop they usually make me jump through). Played another half shoe and colored up with 2k. I was up almost 5k early in the shoe and should have quit then. Two back to back split and double down losses dented my winnings. But I was happy to leave the table up a bit.

On my way out, I stopped by the host office to inquire about whether they had a process for changing hosts. I mean, I still like the food at this resort and the high limit room. I just loathe my host and will not stay there if I have to interact with him at all. But alas, the host office was empty. the BJ manager offered to call one for me, but I said no thanks. Maybe I will inquire in the future.

So, back in the room now. My wallet is fat from winnings thus far. Partner is going to work for another hour and then she gets to make all choices. I know she is exhausted and worked all day. So mayeb it will be nap time next, or shopping, or dinner, and ladies video poker time. Who knows! But I will update later

OMG, what a brilliant idea. I can't believe someone actually thought of that.

When I got a players card at FB the man in High Limit slot room made up his own PIN for my card as well. He later told me, when he handed me my new cards, that my PIN was the year that I was born and I could change it anytime I wanted to. Maybe their standard procedure is to just use the year that you were born?

Congrats on the wins so far!

What a terrible system... They should ask you to make your own PIN right away.

The shopping has commenced! Actually, we started with a visit to the RFB lounge for snacks and drinks

    IMG_0334.jpeg

The staff, to my surprise, seems to know us and immediately went to the secret stash in back to get our preferred drinks. Actually, I think they really remember the little fanatic.

With snacks and Sri is we walked over to the encore spa shop for our first purchases. I am getting a non golf shirt!
