Waiting for the curtains to open
You had me at the YouTube video,
I cannot wait to hear about the price is right show!!! @EastCoastVegasFan! and I really wanted to do it but I was out there on the wrong weekend. It looks so fun. I hope you get on and get Plinko. Keep us posted!!!
We did not get picked to “come on down”. The show was pretty good but not sure if we would do it again. I’ll give more details later.
In a cab on our way back to the Trop. Time to start drinking and letting loose a little
Gambling has been give and take. Small hits and slightly bigger losses.
Just had dinner at Casa Taco at Trop. Food was very good. Service was surprisingly not great as they seem to have more employees than any other restaurant in AC. You’ll have to take my word on the food as we forgot to take pictures.
Now it’s time to get on the floor.
Sorry we kind of fell off the radar. We had a few too many adult beverages and went on a pretty good losing streak on machines and roulette.
Beautiful morning in AC.
Very slow start to today but a few hits for some redemption.
Nice trip report... I wish you had gotten picked on price is right.... loved the food pics... and you did have some decent wins! room looked nice also
We wish would have been picked also. Sorry we couldn’t get any pictures of the “price is right”. They had a strict no picture policy once it started and we saw them confiscate a few phones.
Awesome trip report, I especially loved the beach photos and the night time photos with a clear sky, just a couple days from a full moon.
Sounds like you were getting good cocktails at the 10 North Bar, it’s one of my faves. Service is pretty good there and you can easily get plowed under after a couple martinis. Looks like you had a good table at the Chelsea Five Gastropub for a nice view of the ocean.
Since the Trop has come into the CET fold we have been very happy to have it in the mix. There is a nice variety of food choices.
The 10 North Bar has been very good to us so far. I’m mainly just a beer drinker but the Mrs like a wide variety cocktails and the bartenders always take good care of us. I like to sit on the side closest to the boardwalk as you can get a pretty good view of the screens in the sports book.
@Wallew Thanks for a great report. We feel very similarly about Tropicana and Chelsea 5. We also liked 10 North a lot. When we were there on our last trip however, there seemed to be a inordinate amount of broken machines. Did that still seem to be the case there?
From what I noticed at 10 North, two bar tops were broken and another you had to hit the buttons because the screen was wonky. I didn’t check all machines though so who knows.
Thanks for that. Did you happen notice that around the casino in general. When we were there in july it seemed like 30-40% of the machines were broken as in completely out of service throughout the whole casino. In the lower level across from hooters there was a bank of 8 VP machines (Super times pay and such) that were all out of order with tags from weeks earlier.
I did notice a few machines off but not like a few months ago. Maybe 10% at the most were off.
That's great to hear. We will probably stop over there on our next trip in a few weeks. We are staying at Harrah's, but we like summer stays at Tropicana. However all the machines out of service like last July made even finding some games difficult.
I like a good cliffhanger!
Thank you for the great report--and for letting us "Come on Down" to AC with you!
