So it appears to simplify the game, they added a new points and level system.

I thought our level was the number next to our gems, but apparently that is something else and this is something new.

I started with 5 "VIP Points", and when I finished the scratcher event it gave me 25 more VIP Points. Looks like it is going to take 10,000 VIP points to make "VIP Level 2" and regain the ability to book rooms, no grandfathering for old members.

And in celebration of this new system, it appears they added some Bingo game.

    Clear as mud yet?

    Edit: Sorry, that's not 1000 points, that's 10,000 points.
That would take 100 days to make Level 2 finishing four scratcher events per day....

Edit: Nevermind, gold events only give 9 instead of 25.
Edit2: The amount you get depends on your VIP level

Less than an hour later, and they reset my "VIP Points" back to 0.....

The 1:00 PM PT scratcher event was 25 points.
The 8:30 PM PT scratcher event is just 9 points...

Yeah, too lazy to edit everything. Guess I'll just wait and see if they make anymore changes.

The amount you collect from scratchers depends on your VIP level.
    Level 0 gives 3 gold/10 wheel
    Level 1 gives 5 gold/15 wheel
    Level 2 gives ? gold/? wheel
    Level 3 gives 18 gold/60 wheel

Not a fan, but also not surprised. Now I just wished I added an extra night in Vegas last week and burn extra gems. Haha

But at least staying at Wynn might be worth $100 per block of stays...

    And...
    Level 4 gives 32 gold/100 wheel

But, takes 40,000 in 90 days to keep the level. Guess I'll find out in <90 days whether it's worth it to keep playing or not!

Level 4 is $400 in purchases if you collect no other points. :(

You are staying at Wynn some nights I hope in a few weeks??? Save another comp offer for a different time if you can. I would really consider burning as many gems ASAP. Now I really regret us not booking an extra night with Wynn this past weekend (we could have) and staying 7 nights total in Vegas instead of 6. M and I both really didn't want to leave!

NOT gonna spend $400 on this game, haha!
Yes, I booked a few months ago for this upcoming trip... had enough gems for 3 nights, so I used 'em for our stay at the beginning of the trip (Sept 28 - 30). I'm at level 70 now with 1550 gems, which are harder to accumulate since I don't spend a ton of time on the game anymore.

Yep, we never want to leave at the end of a Vegas trip either!!

I sure wish I would have went ahead and booked the 2 nights that I could use gems on and then just pay for the third night now. Maybe they will have the buffet option available by my trip.

I'm currently at level 82 and I have 5.6 Billion coins and over 9K gems. I've spent about $60-$70 on the game. I have 87 days to remain level one...big deal. My plan is to bust each piggy bank ($4.99) and spend the neccesary $'s when it's neccessary to reach tier two...wild ass guess is around $50+. IMO, this is still a great deal. We are looking at a December/hopefully, or a January trip. Three nights at the Wynn, and we have comp nights at MLife/CET.. It's probably between the Mirage or Aria....probably the Mirage. I grind away at tier 3 and only play scratcher events. This strategy has worked for me as I may have losing sessions, but continue to increase my coins and gems. I appreciate all the feedback on this forum...it's very beneficial. Thanks.

I doubt it’s random. I have no inside information, but I would guess it has to do with how much money you’ve spent on the game in the past.

I don't think the level 5 people have any idea themselves (unless they purchased a LOT of chips in the past). It seems to have a lot of bugs at the moment, so I wouldn't stress until the next update which I assume will be in a few days to fix the bugs.

Meanwhile, you'll have to see if you can get two nights out of it because you'd have to ask yourself if it is worth it for one night at $100 for all that trouble. Yes, it will be a lot cheaper (especially no resort fees) but in my humble opinion, if you're going to enjoy a 5-star resort, then you should aim for two nights minimum.

The level 5 discount is 25%, I think the original prices are the same.

ive seen some posts that it would cost 400$ out of pocket without earning points to get level 4, for level 5 would it cost 500? anyone know?

I am level 5 and I have no idea why. I have bought chips, and possibly spent a lot more than I realize. But I don't think I bought enough to start at level 5.

I let the stupid game spin for almost 10 hours yesterday. I collected all the time, got some events, and still I'm only at 60 vip points today. No way will I make 2500 in 28 days.

    Stupid.
