I'm curious if this works as easily as when you use a restaurant inside the D like The D Grill. Now you just present your card and Voila the comps are taken and you're on your way.

Last time (somewhere around a year or less ago) I went all the way to Le Thai and when I got there they turned me away and said I needed a voucher.

Just want to hear from someone that has actually used their comps at any of the "outside" restaurants that have partnered with The D/GG. Especially Bocho, Le Thai, Comida, Eureka or 7th & Carson.

Well, u may know this already. I'm just the slow one. I went to use my comp dining credit from The D at Pizza Rock. Guy like oh u have 0. I thought $150

So I went to players club. The way it sounds it's only on the points u earn going as comp dollars. It might be your earned comped dollars from playing as well .But it's not from your dining monthly credit.

They just swipe card and all should be ok. Those vouchers were a pain .It was hard to spend $50 at a time at D grill dining solo.

I was thinking that it was comp dollars and not part of the monthly offers, but thanks for clarifying. Glad to hear you can now just swipe! Thanks!

For what it's worth, Bocho is pretty great sushi. Last time I was there, I just handed them my player's card like it was a credit card, and they ran it without issue.

I went to the players club at GG and told them I wanted to go to LeThai. They gave me a voucher. Went next day to Le Thai for lunch. No problems. It was great...

I was told at GG that vouchers are no longer needed. You can just present your card and they will swipe it...deed done.

I have used my card at Pizza Rock and Bocho without issue. HOWEVER, i really didn't pay attention to the amount deducted; i'm not sure if it was comp dollars or dining credits.

At this time, I was told, only comp dollars may be used at the "off site" restaurants. Dining credits are only good at Andiamo's, Coney Island, D Grill, and Project BBQ and possibly the coffee stand.

I went to the GG club, first, thinking I had to get a voucher for Project BBQ. (This was last month)
They told me, to just give the cashier my card.
So, plodded back to BBQ place, cashier told me how much I had, and I used toward a sandwich.

I would HATE to go all the way down to LeThai and find out I need a voucher FIRST!

In October, I ate twice at the D Grill.

I presented my player’s card and driver’s license.

They used my monthly mailer dining credits to pay the bill. No problem.

I also successfully used dining $ at the D hot dog place.

During a visit to LeThai February, 2018, I ate first , then tried to pay with GG dining credits. Nope. Should have had voucher. Paid cash. No problem. I did not try LeThai early October , 2018 because it was closed for renovation.
YELP says that it is now open.

Places where you can use dining credit monthly offer: The D Grill, Andiamo's, Coney Island, Coffee Bar and Project BBQ. The other restaurants NOT located outside of those places ie. Le Thai, Boccho, etc. you can only use accumulated comps. I still haven't tried to go to one of the "other" restaurants yet. I ran out of time and hunger. lol

Any first-hand experience yet with those off-site locations? I remember the voucher system, but I am such a distrusting soul that I would like a first-hand account.

    Not much to add other than;
I applaud the D/GG for doing this, as this is the one major gripe we have with “individual”’properties...the food choices to get “comped” at are limited.
With them doing this, I actually have now an interest in getting status at them.
(That and I LOVE pizza rock haha)
