Glad you gave such high marks for Giada's. Can't wait to eat there.

Those rates were fabulous fro your friends and family. Lol at Motel 8 rates.

So off to the Paris for the remaining days...

I was armed and ready to go....Or so I thought....

    10k (Before Champagne slots)
    IMG_20140620_193521.jpg

Ended up dumping that, and 9k more on top of it....2nd time staying there and 2nd time loosing!!!

This are the only hits at Paris of the entire WEEK...quite pathetic seeing the amount of time I spent playing every morning...

So that's it for the gambling pics, overall a decent gambling trip until I hit the Paris where the arse fell outta it...I had way better luck in previous trips to Planet Hollywood and Caesars and held my own the previous weeks at Cosmo, Encore & Aria....Lesson learned, no more gambling at the Paris for me! I do however have to make a shout out to the employee that work in the champagne slots area at the Paris...Every morning they would greet me by name "Good morning Mr Brian" (I did get a daily chuckle out of that) and call and have my coffee and Evian ordered before I even sat down. Also, cocktail service was super fast there, barely had to wait a min for beers/drinks whatever we wanted! If it wasn;t for the ass pounding I took at the machines it would have been awesome!!!

Also, my Caesars host hooked me up with an awesome "Lyons" suite at the Paris with a two queen connecting room, pre comped..

The rest of the week we did a lot of things, as I wanted all the Vegas virgins to experience as much as possible while they were there...

Sunday night we did the High Roller - Worth the cash...DO IT!

Monday night was a late dinner at Mon Ami Gabi with copious amounts of wine and we ended up at Sapphires (yes the ladies came too) :)

Tuesday was strip walk with late lunch at the Wynn

Wednesday was the 27 passenger party bus with the stripper pole to do the tour of the hoover dam! Once again, shitloads of beer was drank, tunes were pumping and EVERYONE has an awesome time!

Thursday was the day of our anniversary.
Myself and a few of the boys went over to the Cosmo to check into the wrap around terrace suite that my new host COMPED for me at the Cosmo for the "after party". We went over there to fix up the room with champagne and pre-order and pay for the 6 secret pizza's....mmmmmm. When we got over there the room wasn't quite ready but the check-in clerk advised me that my host requested a specific room and we would be VERY please with it...ok, np..I'll wait...

So of course we head to the Casino for a beverage or two while we are waiting for the text message from the front desk. I sit down at this CARNEY quick hit game, pop a $20 into it, and BOOM, 2nd spin $977...hahaha, why did I ever check out of the Cosmo...

    IMG_20140710_144433.jpg

After that CARNEY hit, we went over to the Bond bar and played some bartop VP, and drank the heck out of 3 or more bottle of mother's Milk Shiraz....also wicked!!! Finally get the text message, out room is ready, west tower, 5901, yes the 59th floor!!

Head up stairs, order room service to bring 15 champagne glasses and some bottle chillers set up, we downstairs and made asure the pizzas would be ready for 9pm, ordered 24 cold beer to be delivered for 8:30pm and we were good to go. FYI: This suite was SWEET, what an absolute amazing view, here are a few pics:

after check in and getting the room ready we head back to the Paris to get showered up and ready to go for this evening. The attire you ask? I had 50 shirts made up that said 10 years of awesome and counting...with our picture on the front and bought 20 pairs of Elvis sunglasses off of eBay...clearly this was about having fun, and not a formal renewal!!!

Here is a glimpse of the old and/or fat people we had stuffed in the back of the LIMO (No I'm not in that pic, LOL!):
    IMG_20140710_193510.jpg

The 21 passenger picked us up at the Paris, then we hit Fremont to show everyone that there is more than the strip in Vegas:

    IMG_20140711_224530.jpg
    IMG_20140711_224534.jpg

After marshaling everyone quickly through the golden nugget to see "the nugget" everyone decided that we would have to come back downtown before they left, everyone loved it that much!

We then hit the strip and stopped by to watch a Bellagio fountain show before our final stop:

    IMG_20140708_225029.jpg

After a quick fountain show, we had to hit the freeway to make our 8:00pm DATE in front of the Vegas sign to renew our vows with ELVIS!!!

We used simple vegas weddings and they were awesome, I would highly recommend. We took shit-tons of pictures and I ended up buying them all, well worth the $140 for the pics!

I'll upload a sample when I get home this evening...

All in all, tis was most likely the best day of the trip, we got to spend an amazing day/and event with the people we love most in the place we love most....

Still to come...Gun store, Jersey Boys, Gordon Ramsay steak

Sucks about the STP at Paris. How many hours did you play about for the week? Also crappy they can't offer better than 8/5? But with that amount of quads, you're in a world of hurt regardless.

And you didn't you get any multiplied quad at all? Bleh.

Awesome write up despite the results.

I would have to say I at least put in about 3 hours per day. I made sure each day that I hit at least 2500 Tier credits to justify my comped suite and connector, two days I put in 5000 TC though, (All before bonuses), all in all, I'd say my coin in was about 225k for the week (Which ended up costing me about 19k out of pocket).

I did hit a few other $1250 HP's, but too much hassle even take a pic of them, at $30/hand the resulting 875 disappeared faster than it took them to HP me :(

Yeah that's what I was guessing. Ugh. When quads/royals and multipliers aren't going your way, this game can definitely have a long stretch of 90ish return. But I still seem to love the game anyway and looking forward to some Double STP in Tunica this weekend.

Hopefully will see a lot more VP porn on your next report. Hint: please write another one next time! :evillaugh

Hah, we will see about the next report, it's taking me long enough to finish this one off.....

I'm thinking I have one or 2 more Vegas trips left in me this year, Oct for the 7 star experience and December for the wife's b day and Andrea Bocelli concert, hopefully I'll get to display a HUGE STP hit!

    thanks for reading!

The driver that picked everyone up from the airport was the same one I had last time. I really liked him. Always kept me up to date on where he was.

Sounds like y'all had a good time, and yep, there's always "next time".

Good to know that 2500 TC per day will get you that kinda stuff (suite + connector, etc)...but I'm sure an ACTUAL LOSS of $19k didn't hurt either...

This was COMPED up front based on my previous play...I'm not sure if the 2500 TC's per day covered it, and remember I also put in 2 days of 5k TC's....

Pervious trip, I hit 5k TC for at least two days out of 5.....morale of the story I'm trying to say is YYMV...as this was an upfront Comp along with $750 in Freeplay and $350 in FB, and all room charges were wiped out at the end (over 750 additional), easy to justify for the host after a 19k loss

I'm not ready for this TR to be over, so I like coming back to get a little taste, then know there's more coming. Your vow renewal sounds great...with the Cosmo suite for the party and your friends there to celebrate with you.

Hate Paris was so bad to you. Shoulda skipped around to other CET props. Yeah, shoulda, coulda, woulda. I do the same damn thing.
