    My Trip Report

Report is on my blog at:

    http://www.lasvegasdaze.com/2012/12/thanksgiving-in-las-vegas-with-family.html

Short version if you prefer not to wade through the photos and long report.

We stayed at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay and Palazzo. Not loving the new M-life changes since October 1st.

Went to Zarkana, it was okay not our favorite Cirque show. Mom, Alan and my son Matt went to Believe the day after and actually enjoyed that show more. Saw the Blue Man Show at Monte Carlo and enjoyed it. Half of their older material is still in show but plenty of new stuff too.

Enjoyed the free Winter in Venice Show at Venetian.

Shark Reef and Mirage's Secret Garden was fun with the family but then it helped it was free for us.

Had my best bonus so far on $1 Da Vinci Diamonds.

Grazie gift show as always was worth going to and unlike M-Life they let you cash in your points and use a comped marketing offer too.

Lots of food porn at various restaurants. No turkey for us on Thanksgiving. :)

BeeeJay, the food porn is lethal, if only I could just look at it and not get inspired to go eat instead.

llestrange25, I arrive in Vegas on Saturday morning and I'll be there until Monday evening. If you spot me in one of the casinos be sure to say hi. If in doubt it's me even though you have seen me in the photos in my TR's, just look and see if there's a headband in the hair as I always wear one. Good luck on your trip!

    Thanks Mike!

eviliciouz, you won't have to wait long for the next one unless when I get back next week the holidays interfere. ;)

nikerbokers, that banana creme pie is always decadent and delicious at all of Emerils restaurants, but I think Delmonico's makes it best. Same recipe of course, but for some reason it tastes a bit better there to me.

    Thanks Pebbles. :)

JRAinDC, happy holidays to you too! We're going to be trying a new restaurant this Saturday, Javier's at Aria so look for that in the next trip report.

    Hi Diana

Loved your report as usual! I had the same opinion of Zarkana...I was in the minority that enjoyed the Elvis show and was curious to see the replacement...there were some good acts but the first 45 minutes was slow going.

I'm itching to try the Beverly Hillbilly slot after watching your video - do they have at Wynn or just Venetian/Palazzo?

    Good luck this trip!

Kathy, I didn't check out Wynncore last trip so I'm not sure if they have Beverly Hills there yet or not. I didn't see it during Thanksgiving at any of the M-Life casinos either. I hope you have as much fun with it as I did. I just heard from my friend yourstarla who is playing it at Venetian and she said I was right about it being fun which I translate as the bonuses are hitting. :)
