Staying downtown for the first time in mid August. Booked MSS as an anniversary surprise for my wife. This will be trip #7 and have stayed on the Strip for all prior trips, with Bill's being our favorite spot. Downtown looks like it will be a great fit for us as we are low rollers, love to play BJ at $5 tables. I read numerous posts here regarding downtown and can't wait to get there and experience all that it has to offer. On previous trips we always went DT for a day and enjoyed it. Thanks for all the input everyone! Looking forward to the trip and will post a trip report with all the details.

If you enjoyed Bill's you should like MSS. It's not directly on Fremont and has easy access to the Cal.
