While I am well aware many of our higher-end members here at VMB have found Cosmo, shall we say, less than enticing in the comp department, I have found them willing to offer one simple thing:

    An Effing Room Comp.

And in fact a very polite and enjoyable conversation. Took less than 5 minutes to get a reservation and have a cage wire transfer instruction email sent.

    Bada Bing, Bada Boom.

See you soon shiny pretty Cosmo.

Looking forward to pissing off my balcony into Bellagio fountain. I am going to comp Bellagio a view of the underside of my ballsack. Enjoy it gentlemen.:Þ

Good job my friend ... I knew that if you kept trying that someone would reward you for your level of play.

Congrats! Cosmo is my favorite strip property to play at.

How many points do you average there per day?

Did you speak to a host or someone from Identity Club?

    BeeJay,
Glad you got a room comp.I'm not a big fan of cosmo but they responded where the marketing experts at MLife did not.
    Hope you kill em!

Be careful. Cosmo is famous for offering free rooms then changing the offer at checkin to casino rate with play looked at during end of trip

    Have heard that before.

As we are going 3 deep in this room and I only had comp on the "base" room (with upgrade request of course)....I decided to be proactive.

Upgraded to the Terrace Suite, the 910 sq footer one down from the Reach-around Suite. It was a pretty good casino rate, although they wouldn't comp it. Under $150 per night with "end of trip play review" as you mentioned. The two 2 buddies offered to split the casino rate 3 ways so for $50/night its a great value as I'll be getting the master.

Wraparound was a good deal on the weeknights, only $50 more on casino rate than the Terrace, but on the weeknds it jumped to $300 more so we had to stick with the Terrace.

    I'm pretty pumped.

And yes I see the irony that I am now paying more than I would have at Bellagio, but it is a much nicer room and big enough to split 3 ways....2 bathrooms, etc. It's not a whole lot better value, but then again, I've given Cosmo a whole helluva a lot less play.

Oh, 3 nights, its a Thu, Fri, Sat,

I hope your buddies are real close. When I stayed in a Terrace Suite in May with my wife there was only one couch in the living room.

If you can hit the Bellagio Fountains on Target from the balcony you're a better man than me! I'd be curious to know how sound proof your room is.

    Have Fun!

Pissing in the fountains is a metaphor. even with a strong wind and full bladder I wouldn't be able to piss over the edge of my own balcony.

I don't give a shit how sound proof my room is. In Vegas I keep other people up all night, not vice versa.

BTW, I am using your pic from that other thread as my background. That is a really cool angle and you got some different color effects than my pics. Really cool!

Sucks for those that ended up getting that treatment but I haven't gotten that treatment yet in my past 10+ stays there in the past 2 years. I am a "low-baller" too. I'm sure you'll be fine :)
