I see people mentioning the terminal they end up in when landing in Vegas. I'm unclear on what they mean. My question? If I connect at O'Hara then fly to Vegas how do I know what terminal I end up in once in Vegas. Does this matter as to length of trip to hotel?

Connecting airport or airport of origin are not factors. ..what airline you're on is the primary factor. See https://www.mccarran.com/Fly/WhichTerminal.aspx
