This was excerpted from my TR of 4/16/2017

Dinner was at Tender Steakhouse at Luxor. Ate with my BFF Les.

We were seated early. We were eating on a myVegas $75 off $150 comp.

We ordered oysters in a sampler platter two each of the three varieties served

    A cheese platter

    From the menu

"American artisanal & farmhouse cheeses with fresh baguettes, honeycomb, local honey dates, quince paste & cherry fig chutney."

    Gouda, Brie, and Bleu

    I ordered the game trio

    GAME TASTING TRIO*
venison osso buco, Rocky Mountain elk medallion and wild boar rack chop with farro, fig chutney and huckleberry venison reduction"

Les ordered the "WAGYU BEEF, DARLING DOWN, AUSTRALIA"

I ordered the Mac and Cheese with truffles

    Everything was superb.

Fully stuffed, the bill was about $160.00, we used the $75 credit and charged the rest to the room.

My girlfriend and I were just there on Saturday night (our fourth visit to Tender). They have dramatically reduced the size of the menu. When asked, our server said it happened about three weeks ago and seemed pretty disgruntled at the changes. The Game Tasting Trio is still there but all of the wagyu is gone along with the lobster risotto, truffle mac and cheese and a bunch of other stuff. The menu has been updated now on their website ( https://www.luxor.com/en/restaurants/tender-steak-and-seafood.html ). What they have remaining is still delicious but it's lost that 'must go' flair it had. 21+ day aged Angus just isn't the same. The menu probably was too big for the number of people they were serving but I feel they removed most of the character from it.
