I don't spend a lot of time downtown so don't have a particularly comprehensive view, but I am an enormous fan of Saginaw's at Circa -- I grew up on Kosher deli food, and while this is "Jewish-style" as opposed to Kosher (a Kosher deli would not have a BLT...), the food is delicious. Probably the only time I've had good matzo ball soup in a resort here (although there are some great options off-Strip), and the aforementioned BLT is very good. For dinners, I had a great one at Andiamo, at The D, and though I haven't been there myself yet, a lot of people praise Barry's Downtown at Circa.

Breakfast - Magnolias in 4queens or Binions Cafe are my go to due to comps.

Lunch - Le Thai (short rib fried rice or curry). Chicago Brewing or Pizza Rock.

Dinner - Le Thai again but the places I noted above are fine. I have Andiamos at D on the list to do one day but just haven’t gotten around to it. Reminds me … Redwood Steakhouse in Cal is good for dinner. Also like Oscar’s.

Except for Le Thai, I don’t really plan meals downtown so to speak. Just end up eating downtown if i am downtown and just go for whatever kind of food I am in mood for at that time. Even when I stay downtown, I tend to leave downtown to eat dinner.

We don’t go downtown often, but agree with mentions above for breakfast @Magnolia’s/4queens and Pizza Rock for lunch have always hit the spot.

Carson kitchen is solid for lunch. Fried chicken skins with smoked honey is pretty delicious. Haven’t been since pre-covid though.

Le Thai is some of the best Thai food I’ve had. Evel Pizza was surprisingly good, reasonably priced and kitschy.

It really depends where I'm at.

For breakfast, The Cal's Market Street Cafe gets my "best" vote, but Magnolia's, Binions Cafe and 2nd Street Grill are good too.

I usually do a heavy breakfast but have a light lunch, so American Coney or Evel Pie. If I'm on the other end of Fremont though, I'll go to Saginaws and get a sandwich.

For fancy dinner, Andiamo's is good. For 'regular' dinner, any of the coffee shops, or Tony Roma's if it's time for one of their specials.

When I'm in Vegas I'm more about drinking and gambling than I am about eating, so I tend to just get something near where I'm drinking and gambling.

Usually breakfast at Magnolia's, like others it's comped and still pretty good. Cal Market Street Cafe is also good. I don't usually have lunch, but go for a happy hour or earlier dinner. My go to used to be 777 at MSS, don't know if it's even open. I also like Pizza Rock and Chicago Brewing. If you have the budget, Andiamo's is very good, had a great meal there several years back. Freedom Beat at Downtown Grand is also good, particularly if you can catch a special.

Breakfast - MTO but a bit of a walk a few block down Main St from the Plaza. Ate at EAT once and it was very good as well. Claim Jumper is a solid breakfast if we want to stay close.

Lunch - 777 Brew Pup or Triple George

Dinner - Chart House, Pizza Rock, Le Thai, Andiamo's, Grotto, they are all excellent.

Hoping to try Esther's Kitchen on next trip!!

Always Binion's Cafe for Breakfast. They open at 7AM and the line starts forming at 6:45. It's not new or flashy with an old school vibe. Good service. Cheap too. Tabasco already on the table.

I'm another big Le Thia and Pizza rock fan will eat at each at least once a trip but usually more.

Hugo's cellar is another option for dinner, I like the atmosphere!

If you're up for a little walk in the morning past El Cortez, past atomic liquors, there's a breakfast place called Public Us, very good!
