Started watching reruns of Boston Legal - Forgot how good that show was.

I like Hawaii Five-0 but it drives me crazy when McGarret and Dano bicker.
I guess it's for comic releif but I think there are enough characters to provide that.
McGarret is suppose to be some bad ass dude... All Dano does is whine in every episode.

Poor James MacArthur must be rolling over in his grave over the travesty of his original "Dano" character.

Personally I enjoy the show much better when Scott Caan is not in the episode...
I don't think he's that good of an actor. Certainly not of his Dad's caliber.

Incessant and repetitive commercials have weened me off "regular" t.v. I'll wait for shows to come on Netflix to watch the few I actually do; Blue Bloods, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Blacklist. Baseball and Fox Business alas I have to endure the commercials!

Mostly Netflix and HBO series for me: House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, and Game of Thrones.

But my guilty pleasure is Hell's Kitchen ;)

I've watched Hell's Kitchen from the beginning. Predictable but fun.

Aside from home and food shows, certain sports, news talk, we don't tune in a lot. We binge-watched Throne last year and caught up. Westworld. The Young Pope. I'm sensing an HBO theme to the latter ones.

Which network has Boston Legal/The Practice? That was one of my faves! (Two brothers in the legal profession.)

I agree totally, not sure why they want to have Caan on the show except for comic relief. That's too bad because they had some good episodes on him in the beginning, esp when he was a cop on the mainland. Too bad they resorted to him whining whenever he is on nowadays.

He didn't win the popularity contest in Hawaii either, in the early years someone interviewed him and he said that he loathed filming in Hawaii and couldn't stand the place (Hawaii) and was on the first flight out when filming was done. That started a campaign to get rid of him from the show but guess that didn't pan out but after that he learned to shut his trap when discussing the show. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I don't know why they picked him to star on the show, other than the oceans movies I don't remember him in any remarkable roles in the movies. I still think he got the role because of who his dear old daddy was and not based on his acting ability because I don't see any.

As for shows that I watch, guess I'm not like the rest of you as I don't watch any of the shows that others have listed. These are the shows I watch regularly:

Marvel Agents of Shield (love to watch Daisy and May, for an old lady Ming Na is still hot to me, especially when she kicks ass).
Bull (interesting how the jury can be influenced just by something said or by the way a person acts or moves)
    McGuyver
Scorpion (yeah, I'm a geek but I also like to watch Katherine McPhee)
    Lethal Weapon
    Grimm
Many of the shows on the scifi channel but right now out of season. Besides the SciFi channel is boring nowadays, old shows and not much new material.

And I hardly watch the shows live. I have on demand (oceanic cable) so I watch the shows a few days or a week later when they have less commercials. Usually the shows are only 44 minutes long sans commercials so I can get more shows in without the commercial interruption.

But then I tend to mute the tv during the commercials. I hate that the tv show is a certain volume, then my ears get blasted by the loud commercials. Wish there was a button to reduce the volume by a half or a third so I can still hear the tv but not have to mute it.

Try The Middle if you need a show to catch up on.
I started to watch the show on Hallmark Channel M-F 9 to 11 PM to catch up
On their network, the word "ass" is not allowed

I have turned on so many people to Fresh Off the Boat and I think it is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen especially if you were in your teens in the early to mid 90's. They crush it with the references.... JNCO jeans anyone?
