Yeah it's probably a long shot. I wonder what the percentage would be of people staying downtown using it to get to the Linq vs. strippers (not THOSE kind) using it specifically to go downtown. Bus service is already a good option but I guess a free express shuttle would be pretty popular.

There is no CET property downtown. There will be no shuttle.

That's what I would think, that's why I was surprised when it was a Linq guy proposing this.

It doesn't matter if there is a CET property downtown. The question is whether there are people who stay downtown they will make money on if they can get to the Linq. Even if I am using that shuttle just to get to another part of the strip, chances are I would stop in one of the Linq shops or casinos as part of the excursion. What they need is a partner downtown like the Boyd properties or the FSE properties to think the reverse is true. The real deterrent is that it would be a ton of riders wanting to use it. They would probably need to do something where you pay for it and get a value add in return as part of the ride like the casinos do here. You may pay $5 to a shuttle company for a round trip but get it back in free play or a food voucher. Just enough to make some folks think the bus is still attractive.
