    Yup - Long Bar.

Literally just sat down to watch the end of the Heat/76ers. Picked that machine because the TV in front of it has the game in. Couldn't believe it.

    Oh hello.

    Time for a quick recap.

After El Cortez we hopped in a Lyft and came back to PH. Spent about an hour or so walking the Strip before ultimately returning to PH. Intended on sitting down and playing some blackjack but ultimately decided to pass.

With the winnings from the earlier Royal secure, I honestly didn't feel the urge to play again. So I went upstairs and called it an early night. So much for debauchery lol. But man the full night of sleep was so what I needed. I feel so much more relaxed this morning. And the itch to get playing has returned.

Going to head out and grab breakfast shortly. Don't have much as far as plans go other than to play a little VP and a little blackjack and see where it goes from there. Need to find some sportsball to bet on as well.

I'm tossing enough cash into the safe to lock in a profitable trip - which is awesome. Still have most of my original bankroll in tact - so the money from last night can hear back home.

Loving this trip so far. Sucks that my friend got sick but hopefully he'll be able to make it out tonight, as he's Rona negative for two days now. Either way I'm having a blast. Really content with just about everything that's gone on - even the early night last night.

Need to move to The Linq at some point today. The lady at check in here at PH gave me a 1 pm check out time - so I'm in no rush. The Linq wanted $50 bucks for early check in on their automated system, and, uh, yea, that's not happening. So I'll go up there around 1 and see if I can get a real person to waive that fee. It's less about the money and more about the principal of paying $50 to get into a room in the afternoon. I get it if it was, say 10 am. 1:30/2? GTFO.

I do have the early morning flight - so I'm not sure how late we'll be out, if we'll venture downtown again or just stay on the strip. But if it is more of a 10/11 pm night again then that means I should probably get my ass moving.

There's still more Vegas to do!

I usually have luck checking in early for free with cet. Just a heads up that I went at 11am at Harrah's to check in and they wanted 60 bucks to check in early. So I suggest trying linq around 1p at the earliest if you want to try your luck for early check in

I was in Miami a few years back and took my 4 year old to Gulfstream. Put in a trifecta on a race and then let him punch one into the machine as well (which is technically illegal but uhhhh we'll let that slide).

Anyhoo - I sat there with a long shot trifecta times 2. And it hit! Twice!

The horse that was on top of the ticket? Lucky Duck.

    I’ve never ARRIVED there sober!

    Then told my buddy:

    “Don’t sit down!
    Everything & everybody smells!
    We’re not staying- ever!”

Breakfast at Cafe Hollywood - pretty good. Interesting place, playing into the cheesey Hollywood vibe of the Planet Hollywood restaurant and whatnot. Still super weird that the Planet Hollywood restaurant isn't at Planet Hollywood casino, not that I'd want to ever go to that shit hole, but it's still weird.

Anyhoo - just stumbling around the Strip. Cashed in my Tom's Urban 2fer so just waiting until it's reasonable to eat again to go cash it in and get this party started.

Nice looking plate of bacon. Congrats on the Royal. Does PHO still comp Lagunitas? Looking forward to your take on Circus Circus. I took my wife there once and ending up having to take her to a Coach store and buy her some new sneakers since the ones she was wearing got ruined from our visit.

Made my way over to the trashy castle as I kill time before Tom's Urban. For some reason I always do okay here. Bought in to a $10 continuous shuffle game for $300, cashed out for $350 half hour later. Dropped $25 of it back into an Easy Money slot (which they easily took and easily gave nothing back). Now dropping some money on some sportsball - Mets, Yanks, Astros.

Then I think it'll be time to head back to Tom's Urban to really get things rolling.

Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders with garlic fries, because if you're drinking 80 ounces of beer in one sitting you should probably eat something.
