Used a bogo benefit from sterling for the wicked spoon. It actually was nice being served and there were plenty of people and no lines. Took a nap on the balcony in 100 degree plus weather and it felt wonderful somehow. Going to hit the casino floor to try out some new machines we noticed earlier!

We used to go to the lakeside inn when going skiing. Very affordable and a great restaurant. Our day away from skiing we always took that trail to the lake though fewer water lovers in March as you show. Glad you found it and enjoyed it.
Closing lakeside is such a loss for us. But one must make due with change I suppose.

    Hopefully, finally !!!

Well it is time to finally go home. 7 nights in two different locations was different and like two separate trips. Having ended the trip at cosmo was perfect and the fountain view balcony made it all the more magnificent. For 8 days I am only down $700 and played like crazy. Even better was the actual end of the trip credit card tally that included car rentals both places and gas, hotel room and resort fees, food and beverage for $999!!! Really took advantage of points and comps this time. Wound up being a few points short for a Sterling rollover so maybe have to come back for Spring Break. Some general thoughts——-
1.Mask compliance pretty good with mgmt on top of it most places

    2. Strip mask and distance safety following greater on the strip then locals

    3. Scooters- the I am sure now gazillionaire who came up with idea should be shot! They are an accident waiting to happen. Talked to a cosmo employee who said they have races with the damn things.

4 . The Harrahs end of the strip was very sketchy at night to walk around. Felt like a criminal element more than a tourist

5 Drink service was slower during the day but same at night pre covid I thought

6 Crowds at Cosmo on weekend were packed, loud, and full of young kids probably spending their stimulus checks

We were masked all the time and my hands are so dry from soap and sanitizer I feel confident we did the best we could not to get sick and had a wonderful trip with lots of new experiences. When the school year gets tough for me, as for sure it will be , I will definitely be able to think of my happy place trip! IMG_7628.jpg
