Pictures are great. Thanks for posting them. Interested in how crowded Venetian is during the week. Palazzo tower still closed?

Well checking out soon and heading to the Reno airport. I don’t know why but yesterday security was very strict about masks. My husband got a talking to as he was holding a beverage in his hand and not remasking between sips even as the drink was not touching a surface. It does make it harder without a straw. They have them if you ask but to have to touch them to unwrap what’s the point. We had dinner outside last night near the heavenly gondola area. It was pretty crowded and many unmasked. It felt slightly uncomfortable. Curious to see how Vegas will be. Definitely the walk to the lake was a highlight for us.

Stateline is in Douglas county, which was not on the original list of counties that had to re-close bars. I assume they've been open since June 4, unless the casinos themselves are being proactive.

Also, someone above mentioned Virginia City. Virginia City is in Storey county which also wasn't on the list.

We are here!!!! And so are the damn scooters lol! I just saw 6 in the Venetian as a whole group. Party on the pedal they were having for sure. I can see that being dangerous. Oh well. Check in easy. Tried to upgrade but we said no. Pool no reservation needed and it’s housekeeping as usual. Though husband just reminded me how they always doing amazing work organizing the toiletries I leave on the counter [emoji3061]. Maybe I should put housekeeping on hold! Rented a Kia Soul from budget that some idiot must have smoked ten cigars in! At least it wasn’t skunk! Time to chase after the hubby in the casino!

Enjoyed the pool for a bit today. Mask compliance [emoji817] percent Out of the water only but still. Stopped at in n out burger for lunch and ate outside so keeping our distance. Actually going to order take out again from the lux cafe In Venetian to have in the room. I don’t feel like I am missing anything if it makes me more comfortable. Comfortable-so was not on the strip last night. Very sketchy crowd . Not the usual suspects for sure. Also the Venetian is freezing. Wearing a sweater each time. Also the Venetian no longer has robes in the room anymore. Forgot to take slot pics due to too many cocktails lol but husband played the rhinos again with a total of 280 games and cashed out a little over $300. Not fantastic but a time filler! Going to wander out to a station later since we have the car.

Wanted to say how crowded busy some local casinos were. The Green Valley and Boulder Station were not looking anti social at all. No plexiglass dividers at all and none of the machines off. Boulder didn’t even have any hand sanitizer out. Back now at the Venetian and very crowded. Lots of the weekend kids coming in.

Hello Sterling card holders! We were supposed to only have one night comp as a sterling benefit tomorrow night. Went to identity today and they said there is two due to covid. We went to host and now have today comped here too! Checked out of the Venetian early and they removed the resort fee on the cancelled night so happy! What a long trip this is lol.
