We leave in 7 short (LONG!) days for out first trip to Vegas (which is actually an extended trip from frigid New England to the Southwest -- Southern Utah, Arizona, and 3 nights in Vegas). My boss has hired a limo for us for a a full day (our second day in Vegas) -- long story, but needless to say he is a great boss! I am hoping that some of the Vegas veterans on the board might have some itnerary suggestions for our chauffered Monday in Sin City! We have the limo for 12 hours and our only commitment at this point is Mystere tickets. Everything else is wide open... Help!
For part of your day, get out of Vegas and enjoy the SouthWest, for example: Red Rock Canyon http://www.lasvegas360.com/red_rock.html http://www.redrockcanyon.blm.gov/ http://www.sunsetcities.com/redrock.html If I have a car, I almost never miss a visit to the Cactus Garden at http://www.ethelm.com/ Driving the strip, I recommend night time (it will be a slow drive). Fremont Street Experience http://www.vegasexperience.com/ also http://www.fatburger.net/ or http://www.in-n-out.com/ [ February 21, 2004, 04:23 AM: Message edited by: Big Jack ]
Have the driver take you down to the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and take your picture there. Maybe even out to Hoover Dam. Taking a limo to go to In and Out Burger, that would be kinda cool.
I've crossed Hoover Dam dozens of times, and I can honestly say I've never seen a limo there. If the wife wants to shop, a limo is a cool thing...don't have to deal with parking and all that, and it just looks cool to have a limo pick ya up from the mall. Mikey
