Ok..nobody has responded to this post all day. It's St Paddys day so we've either all been watching the news tonight or drinking green beer.
I personally hope King Argyle is presently filling out verification paperwork in order to recieve the $$$ from winning a huge progressive jackpot, while simultaneously riding the grain train.
Either that, or cavorting with an attractive stranger, either at the tables or in a comped suite.
Thanks, Mikey. Your wish could have come true....more tidbits once I get sometime to compile the actual trip report.
A few general observations:
1. I have never experienced anything like March Madness at a Sports Book. Two thumbs up for the Bellagio, but the best atmosphere I experienced was at the Stardust!
2. The proliferation of 6/5 continues. Any place that offered a single deck game, seem to be offering a 6/5 version of the game. I avoided those like crazy.
3. Another proliferation I noticed, Hitting Soft Seventeen is a lot more prevelant than when I was there 6 months ago.
4. The Orleans rocks!!!! Sahara's tables are jammed packed from 8pm - 4am.
More info in a few days. Need to recover and get rid of the jet lag.
