Well shoot, I have 74 days to go, and I'm pretty focused on Vegas too! I hate to think how bad I'm going to be in mid-September!

I wish that #*&%(#$& statistician would stop bugging me so I could focus on my upcoming Vegas trip....I mean, Yes, of course I'll get those responses re-coded and finish cleaning up those data before lunch. It's what I get paid for, right? :D

When do we switch to counting down hours???

I wrote a little spreadsheet in Excel (entitled When Already) that calculates the exact time until we start driving away! At 3 days it starts reporting in hours.

    7 days, 18 hours 11 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'm just old fashioned. I have a piece of scrap paper on which are listed numbers representing how many days until vacation... it's a joy to cross one off first thing in the morning, and it helps make Monday morning bearable to be able to cross off 3 days [IMG]

Geek alert! I wrote mine in javascript and incorporated it into my "Active Desktop". Days, hours, minutes displayed on my desktop, on top of a nighttime view of the strip. A little distracting...

I guess I qualify as a super -nerd since I have also downloaded my countdown program into my Palm Pilot. This allows me to sit in boring meetings (work????) and watch the minutes count down.
