sometimes a flight gets cancelled (weeks before), then somewhere in the big mess of other changes, they add the original one back in due to moving planes or loads. So, when it first cancels, they move you.

But, when they add a "new" flight, you do not get moved to it. $$$$$$$hit happens.

Definitely no logic on some of their changes. At one point SW switched me from my nonstop flight from Chicago to Vegas and put me on a one stop, routing through Pittsburgh. At least have the decency to put me on a stop in the direction I'm going. Made the change back to the nonstop with no problem.

I just checked all of my future flights and they have got me really messed up. the options that they are giving me are 2 or 3 stops going all over the country.
    Are they offering ANY compensation?

I called once before all of this when they had the whole issue with the Boeing planes. They changed my flight and it was not a change I liked. They were awsome got it all worked out. So I would call

That is not too bad of a change.
Most of us are not that lucky.
The options that I am getting are garbage and my schedule is just not that flexible with 2 jobs.
I understand that shit happens and these are unusual circumstances, but GAWD it sure is frustrating.

Not sure what our city pairs are. In some cases, with 70% of flights no longer flying, nonstops do not always exist.

Go online. Fine a better connection.

Compensation? Nope. You can cancel for a refund though.

Just received an email as to our September (maybe) trip take-off was moved two hours earlier which was ok as the later flight was chosen only for price. apparently we can go and switch within a 14 day window with flights shown as “available”. So we will see 9931D8B0-DDC6-4CC1-962D-B62319C989FA.jpeg

    Got the same e-mail.

For my trip in September, my return LAS >> DTW was a stop and a plane change in Denver. That became a stop in STL and a plane change in MDW. Changed that to Non-Stop. :headbang:

They added nonstops back in for my August trip and let me change for free so I jumped on those. Fingers crossed this is the last change I have to make.

I seem to get flight changes every week lol. No biggie, I go and check to see if there's a better option than what they've reassigned to me. This will probably go on for awhile so make sure you fasten your seat belt secure around your waist, and seat back and tables in their locked positions.

Same here! My flight home in September, but the change was actually a good one for me. My original flight got me home after midnight, which I hate. Now it's 3 hours earlier!

We got the same email today. Outbound flight was changed from 5:05p departure to 3:45p which is ok with me. Coming home flight was also changed but only by 5 minutes. Due to other circumstances I was considering moving our trip to go and return one day earlier so this would be the perfect time to do it. If SW were to change our flight again would I be allowed to change again without any fare difference being charged?
