Putting the "I" in MIA
Wow...
I got home from a 4th of July meeting I wanted no part of and there was a message on my answering machine from my wife to look on the bed for some papers she forgot to bring with her to her mother's house in AZ.
Wow, on the bed was a packed suitcase and an envelope containing two plane tickets to Vegas (my sister was the name on the other ticket.) I'm leaving at 8:45 tonight and returning Sunday.
I called my sister and she said it was a "going away" present from her and she had been planning it for a month or so! I guess she had my wife call my host at the Bellagio and we are set up there for the three nights! Wow, I had no idea...
