    All,
I am thinking about going to Vegas for the Superbowl for the 1st time..... I know casinos offer packages for the sports-book's and whatnot. Please feed me with info Best place/Packages, Cheapest place, cost ect.... Im thinking about flying in Friday and out Monday. Basically just come to town to bet/Watch the Superbowl.

Most of the "packages" I think you are referring to are at sports bars, not sports books. Sports books are, as always, first come first serve. So if you want to watch the big game in a book, I suggest getting there before dawn on game day (that's not a joke). If you're a big enough gambler, the casino will invite you to the party they host (not in the sports book). They aren't really packages, as they are invite only. If you gamble enough, they will send an invite to you. I don't know which sports bar parties are the cheapest, but friends in the past have told me good things about the party at Blondies in the Planet Hollywood shops. My guess is that none of the sports bar packages are cheap. After all, SB is one of the biggest events in vegas each year and attracts the biggest gamblers each year. If you're looking to save money, you may want to try and convince some friends (or find some other people online) who want to go in on a sports bar package with you.

Oh, and since its your first time, FYI, place your best early. On sunday, the line to make wagers in the sports book will stretch through the entire casino. A 60 minute wait is not unusual

Not necessarily. I always leave on Monday afternoon following the SB and the airport isn't terrible

A lot of casinos will deck out a ballroom with tables, TVs, food, booze, etc... and have several betting windows up there as well. It's not necessarily the sports book, but close enough. And since there isn't anything else on that evening, there's no reason to be actually at the book. I went last year to PH for the conference championship weekend and had a great time. they had a ballroom all set up with buffet style bar food, and several drink stations for the basics (beer, wine, well)

Has CET sent their superbowl offers out yet? I received it last year, can't remember when I received it though, but did not go. Hoping I get it this year. Thanks.

South Point has a package that includes two room nights, eight drink tickets and seating for four people for $299.

Blondie's Sports Bar (in the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood) has a package for $200 for a premium buffet and top-shelf open bar.

I am sure there are dozens more that either haven't been announced or that I just haven't seen yet.

Two years ago I attended the Super Bowl at The D's Downtown Events center. Free viewing, with cash bar and pizza, wings and sandwiches available for sale.

I just booked my Super Bowl trip with my son.

Now my efforts focus on a free or GA-type (like the type The D has had in the Downtown Events Center the past few years) with a la carte food and drink options.

Booked by Big Game trip a few weeks ago, staying at Aria, game location TBD but probably Pub 1842 or Tap @ MGM.

There's a Facebook group named VegasBigGame, that's collecting (and discussing) the various party options as they get announced. The group is not public, but PM one of the mods and they'll invite you. The spreadsheet of party choices is here.

Just booked Super Bowl weekend (Fri-Tues) ... Jockey Club for whatever reason didn't bump up prices for this weekend, so that was a plus.

As far as a package with a viewing party, I haven't seen much. This spreadsheet is coming together slowly as party options are released - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jduJ9WLgvJFvROeXRRYrpTgwkVygjSjgBdOqcqfRvnM/edit#gid=0

Last year a LOT of the better parties were booked up by the end of December - so if something looks fun I suggest you jump on it.

We will be in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend staying downtown the only place I found so far with a viewing party is the Plaza $125. They say open bar, stadium style Buffet and raffles. Does anybody know of any other places downtown with a good viewing party?
