here are the official rules local rules

Its says it's for food offers[IMG], locals only (zip codes that start 890xx and 891xx). I wonder if I change my address to the house I rent in LV on my Bconnected account, would I qualify?

Glad you liked the Suncoast, sorry they didn't treat you as you expected. We love that hotel and usually spend a day trip or two there each time out.

Now I'm totally confused. Every day we were there in April, I swiped my card at a kiosk and each day I had offers for free breakfast, lunch & dinner buffets. I don't remember the exact numbers but I think you needed 300 for breakfast or lunch buffet and 600 for dinner.

I've read about that special too. I don't think it's the same one. Does your Bconnected account show a LV zip code? It's the only way the "locals" offer is eligible.

No, that changed back to WI over 4 years ago. Just be aware if you would change to a Vegas address, your B Connected points will expire every 6 months, instead of 12 months.

Thanks for the informative trip report. I am sure you and your wife had a great time inspite of everything. It is nice to get away and we have had a terrible winter as well. We were going to spend a few nights at Suncoast but changed our mind. I am going to take you up on your recommendation for crab legs at the Redwood.

The price has slowly creeped up to $40 for 1.5# but still very good. Pre-split.

Damn, anybody priced shrimp these days? The price is about double from last year for frozen 26-30 count. $9.00# No need for you Gulf state members to rub our noses in it!

Thanks for clarifying. The promo image on the GC website states locals, as does LVA, but the "locals" restriction appears to be limited to the points for buffet promo, though Joe appeared to have received this benefit as well.

I'll ask at the desk in June before playing if they continue to refer to locals in their promotion.

Thanks for the tip about this. I went there today and took a close look at the Suncoast bars and yes indeed the Bonus Poker has been changed back to the traditional 99.17% paytable.

These were downgraded a few weeks ago to the really awful 10/8/5/3/1/1 94.18% BP. I think this was a mistake in more ways than one.

I reported what I found to vpFREE2 and the details are there now. Bonus Poker in the high limit room was reinstated also.

I should add that the Suncoast Island Bar and Sportsbook Bar both have 9/6 DDB in 25c through $5. Showroom Bar has it in 50c, $1 and $2. Don't know if these were temporarily downgraded but they're OK now. I reported these to vpFREE2 and they are shown there now.

They really had the balls to go to 10/8/5/3/1/1? Damn, CET even still has 6/5 at the bar...

I'm assuming that they drew the line on 9/6 "Boner Deluxe" (99.64%) though? That was the crown jewel of those bars...even though they chewed me up and spit me out in Feb. :(

The 9/6 Bonus Deluxe seems to be disappearing from the casino floor as well as the bars, according to vpFREE.

As I posted earlier, only some of the bartops next to the crap tables at Suncoast are Bonus 8/5, others at the same bar are 7/5.

Yeah you're right, but I'm still holding out hope that they did a complete reversal at the last minute!

After reading those rules, I would say tourists get more than locals.

The "More Dining" offers are only available to locals and they are limited to one offer a week. When we were there 2 weeks ago I saw no restrictions on our buffet offers, as a matter of fact, we used it for 2 breakfasts and one lunch.

The "More Cash" offer for the drawings and the "More Winners" offer for the multiplier points both say they are open to all Bconnected members.

We got our multipliers too. I think LVA just read the heading "LV Locals Get More" but didn't read the fine print.

This bar has three sides like a Horseshoe . I looked at only three machines - one machine each side all denominations. All the 25c BP were 7/5. All the 50c/$1/$2/$5 were 8/5. Of course maybe there are some strays since I didn't check every machine.

Yes and that's why I wrote that it was probably a mistake, especially since they later corrected the paytable from the faux 8/5 BP to the standard 99.17% 8/5 BP.

I'm not sure that was a mistake; I really think they might have been testing the waters. 10/8/5/3/1/1 (94.18%) is a unique payable. But I guess it's possible they misread the 8 flush/5 straight as "8/5", but I also don't put anything past casinos.

Did you look at the Bonus Deluxe at all (at the bars in particular)? I wonder what the payout of that is currently.
