    Hey Everyone,

I've been thinking, since megaclubs with star djs are dying, are there other less exclusive places (like maybe lounges) with spinning decent edm/house?

Blue Martini looked good. My wife and I tried to go there once, and there was an advertised dj from ibiza, a club line in front, and pop/country playing. We left. Is Blue Martini a viable option, depending on the night?

I think downtown would make sense, too. Anyone?

Just FYI, there are a few clubs downtown. The problem is that they are more for the younger crowd. I think one is called the Griffin, another is called Don't tell Mama. Another is called Beauty Bar.

There is one in the area that hosts things on their roof. I think it is called Commonwealth.

If you are over 30 I would recommend bringing earplugs because as usual the music is LOUD.

There may be other clubs in the general area but I forget their names.

Yelp also mentions other lounges downtown, places like Gold Diggers, Oddfellows, Pulse, XS, etc.
