Stratosphere casino offers Mlife status match

On my last trip 3/10 we stopped at Stratosphere so kids can go on the their epic rollercoasters while they are screaming and enjoying their rides wife and I decide to get a players card; first time. While getting mine lady saw I had platinum card from mlife then she offered to match it also called over their host.
I'm a mainly baccarat table player and since they don't offer the game it didn't really matter for me,
But as "red" aceplay card holder I believe you get discount throughout their hotel rooms and restaurants.
