So, you can book a room midweek for $49.. (no resort fee, and taxes included)

Same package as last year. We had a car and almost booked one night there just to check it out. Parking costs $20 I believe.

Curious anyone knows what’s going on first week of March? High room rate everywhere

If I didn't have plenty of comped rooms, I would consider it.
I stayed there many years ago, I have no idea what the rooms look like today.

Is this today’s version of what used to be the World of Concrete convention? If so, that event has taken place for about the same time of year in LAS for many years. I can remember flying from STL-LAS on TWA with a bunch of people going to that and buying drinks to the point where the airplane ran out of booze. Plus TWA has been gone for a long time.

No. World of Concrete starts next week along with the Shot show and the AVN Adult show. Guns, Concrete and Porn. Sounds like a fun week.
 
I've never been to the Strat nor had any desire to in 10 years of Vegas trips...
But with the current state of the strip I'd rather start going somewhere that appreciates my business
From the videos the gaming floor seems pretty nice!
 
Excellent deal until you hit a $150 Friday and/or Saturday. It sinks the deal. Rio still wins with the LVA deal.
