Loved Sterling brunch when it was in the old steakhouse, never been to jazz brunch, but have eaten at the country club, lunch and dinner. We planned to go to Sterling this time, but now we will be staying at Wynn, so wondering if we should try the CC jazz brunch instead. What a conundrum! Help?

We've done both and when I asked this question to my husband - it was a quick answer "Sterling".

I enjoyed country club for the seating, the view, the music but preferred Sterling for the food. Others may have a different opinion of course.

Please mum, when we went to Sterling the experience was part of the allure for us- white tablecloths, booths, exceptional service! I wonder if that has changed since. I realize they no longer have the tablecloths, but wonder about the service and atmosphere?

Our visit was in April of this year. We were a group of 10 - the service seemed rather slow - it may have been because we had the one waiter for the group and I believe he had other tables - it appeared that they were short staffed. However, the waiter was pleasant and accommodating. I plan on making another visit next time we are in town on a weekend.

Sterling Brunch used to be fantastic. There are a few "booths" remaining, but not the elevated booths from the old Bally's Steakhouse days. We have been several times after the changeover and it has slipped over the last couple of years both with food quality and service. If it weren't for that damn champagne we likely wouldn't even consider going back.

Next time we're going to give the jazz brunch a try and hopefully we'll find our new favorite.

Yes, I chose that for the Sunday "go home" meal for the 7* Signature event because I would never "pay" $100 apiece for breakfast.

Did you get a reservation? It is closed for a private party that day. Unless it got canceled & reopened to the public for that day, as usual.

Yes, I am with that party. It's the breakfast for the 7* signature event.

Ahhh. I see. I didn't want you to be counting on it & not get a reservation. Hope that you enjoy.

We love the Jazz Brunch. Never been to Sterling - the price point is just too bloody high for breakfast. Never mind that with morning cocktails and such the Country Club isn't much cheaper.

Thanks all! Still not sure, but I think since we will be at Wynn already it might just be the time to try out the jazz brunch.

We've had both. We really enjoyed sitting outside at the Country Club even though the food choices were better at the Sterling.

Do they have crab legs on the jazz brunch buffet?

I understand that there is always room for differing opinions, but in 2017 the answer is pretty easy: The Country Club. Several years ago it might have been a horse race, but not now.

We go to Sterling every time we are in LV. It is good and the service is good. We lucked out and got the same waiter the last three times even though we didn't remember his name. He was excellent and we enjoyed the food, It is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.
