So headed out to Vegas in a couple weeks for sweet 16. Out of all y choices the Linq had best pricing. My Mlife choices were almost twice as much so said the hell with it and take a chance. Pretty disappointed in Mlife as been staying with them for years. the fact that all of the total rewards choices were better rates may have me switching up.
As far as the Linq I do love its location. So my question is how are the rooms? Heard a lot of mixed reviews about the stay experience there. Some complained about it being loud, some complaints about slow elevators. I'm not super picky as I just need a clean room to sleep 4-5 hours every night.

rooms are fairly recently renovated, small but they don't have the big pieces of furniture (dresser, tv cabinet, etc) so they appear more spacious......instead, there is a shelf that run the whole width of one wall, just go online and look at the pics, it will make more sense then. Closet has a few shelves, fridge and safe, with a cloth curtain for a door. Bathrooms are nice. Elevators are slow and there aren't many of them, go behind the ones off the main corridor and there are some that are less used. My room faced the linq plaza and overlooked the pool so it was quiet, but there will be some rooms that overlook the Caranval Court(?) that have got to be loud....have fun!

Madchef, search for my review from last April. It will answer your questions. I would stay there again.

Avoid anything above Caranval Court, you won't sleep all night if you get one of those. Otherwise its significantly better now.

Stayed there before and would stay there again. Rooms are on the small side, but the layout makes it so you're not crowded (and there were three of us in a double). We were warned at checkin about Carnaval Court rooms so chose opposite and we were fine. Elevators were fine, too since we knew to use the ones on the backside of the main ones. And of course location is prime.

Stayed there a LONG time ago when it was the Imperial Palace. Great location. Small but still OK rooms. I agree with others that suggest checking on photos online.

    Have a great time!

I liked the Linq. Room are small, but I've been in much smaller rooms in NYC. I did go for the King Suite while I was there once and really enjoyed the second bathroom. I gotta say, they do a really good job of optimizing the space at the Linq. The elevator was a non-issue for me and there's a second elevator behind the main elevator that hardly gets used.

As a whole, the casino was/is rather sleepy despite having one of the best bars in town.

Stayed in December and enjoyed the vibe, rooms are small but it's not a deal breaker given the great location of the casino. The promenade is very nice plus in n out just opened.
    I would stay again

Personally, I enjoyed my short 2 day solo stay at the Linq. The renovated room I had was quite nice. My view outside was the Uber waiting zone, that was not good but if it was at a higher floor I'm sure it would be ok. One space saving thing I thought was kinda different was the sliding bathroom door. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. Have a great time!

Linq will be fine for what you want - the room reminded me of a college dorm room but it was newer/clean, I did like that shelf running the length of the room, very handy.

As others have said, just ask for a quieter room at check-in. When I checked in, the gal actually brought that up about being away from Carnaval Court, and I ended up with a kind-of strip view.

I had a view facing the garage, no noise issues from outside.

Oh come on, can't you just post a link to your review? Since its your review you should be able to find it quicker.

What would one request to avoid the noise at night. Do you simply request to be far away from the Caraval Court or ask for a specific North/South/East/West wing of sorts?

    @LV_Bound

Ask for Tower 3. It's the farthest from Carnaval Court.

In Tower 3, pool view is nice, but there will be music from noon to 6pm. If you want least possible noise ask for Tower 3 northside, away from pool, expect no view. For a mountain view, ask for Tower 3, high floor overlooking the parking lot.

I stayed there. We had some problems getting hot water sometimes, but the price was so good it didn't bother me much. Wasn't there during pool season so I can't advise about that. Nice and clean, great location, would do it again but not if I wanted luxury.

    Optimistic, might make Identity Gold?
