Sounds like you had a great trip and have a new PF?
Sorry to hear you're still playing chauffeur.

Yeah, I used to play right up until I left, but in the last 10 years, as I became a "comp maximizer", and went to Las Vegas 6-8 times a year, I was determined to keep "going home money" for going home. Someone else can win the big WOF jackpot at the airport.

I'm so impressed with how you are able to do trip reports for all of your trips to Vegas. I love them. Jaleo looks delicious and your Master Class sounded like it was fun. I think it's so cool that you meet new people from this Board. Strangers become friends - all due to shared interests. Thanks again DaiLun. :)

Well, for me it's all about "sharing", I discussed this with @Chrisbeans last night. There are people who are not as fortunate as me (6-8 visits a year to Las Vegas for the last 10 years, and don't get to eat at the fancy restaurants, or if they do, they'd like to know the pluses and minuses of the venues. I hope that I can share them with people so they don't make a mistake.

Comparing Jaleo with Julian Serrano's Tapas, note that I've only eaten at Julian Serrano's for lunch, but IMHO, his dishes are as creative as Jose Andreas.

That's funny about the American Gods machine being your ATM. I thought the same thing! Only it was the American Gods at Cosmo.

Great report (as always). That brunch class looks amazing. And the tasting menu at Jaleo - yum!

I'm looking forward to the next TR and seeing some of Elko, NV. Haven't had a reason to get out that way yet.

Thank you again for inviting me to dinner, @DaiLun! You helped me cross off another restaurant from my “must try” list. :woohoo: Hopefully we get to see each other again the next time our trips coincide, whenever that will be! Hopefully before you retire from work and gambling! ;)

You know I’ll be following along on your TRs!
