omg really? Thought you were effing with me but I see an intercom - so lovely - dead -:angel:

$500 a night is on par with a lot of less luxurious and certainly less historic rooms on the strip.

It almost looks like very little has been changed, which is a little bit creepy.

I wonder what Michael and Brendan think about this.

This is awesome news - during really bad blackjack streaks I have joked with the blackjack pit bosses that they should be comping me Jackie's suite instead of a Tower room. I'm gonna save up some money and spend a night here sometime!

looks nice but don't think I could get over the feeling of him living there almost to his and his wife's death
bargain at $500/night

Part of me feels a bit weird about it, but Elco doesn't seem to be over-hyping it. I imagine that if it stays off the menu so to speak, only true fans who would honor the suite, Jackie, and old Vegas in general would stay there. Maybe wishful thinking on my part. Gonna ponder staying here for my birthday!

I love the range. That would be pre-1979 as it still has the GM branding, That was the last year appliances were made like automobiles. Given that he probably didn't use it much, it may even have collector value. (Yes, people do collect appliances). I spent my teen years working at a place that sold Frigidaire appliances and Zenith TVs.

In my tour of his empire I have stayed at Ogden House, Vegas Club, Plaza and Western. Haven't stayed at ElCo yet...the JG Suite would be a nice way to end the tour.
