I was going to post this in the previous post but it was long and a lot of negative things being written for a fun little promotion. We started doing the quest on New Years Day. We hit the 8 CET casinos on the strip and had a great time doing it. I am glad that they all combine the TC's as at Flamingo and Harrahs we hit 25 TCs exactly but overall did 2800 for the day so started the year with just over 7,800 before the 2016 incentives kick in which should have us around 25K. It is a silly promotion and I can see people not making any extra effort to go places but if your there than it can be neat. Ended with 2,000 extra TCs for playing and being where we were, checking out the properties, and had a nice walk along the strip...............Rick

The wife and I plan on doing the same next month on our planned trip. The fact that they combine TC's played in a day from all casino's makes it an easy choice when in Las Vegas. We might even venture over to the Rio and pick up that 9th badge.

They combine play at all of their properties each day, yes, but that only counts for MDV (Market Daily Value). Your individual ADT at each casino will be affected. That could put you at risk of not getting assigned a suite by the "suite committee", among other things.

I appreciate promos for extra tier points, but I don't think this one is very good for the player.

I'm going to start in Reno/Tahoe the weekend of 1/20, then to New Orleans the following weekend, then Las Vegas in February. This is part of my "make all your gambling dollars count for something" tour . . . . .

I should have 14 by the end of February.

I would not worry about this one bit. Vegas CET properties combined all your daily play together. That's one of the perks with CET. We casino hop every trip we're there usually accumulating 2,500 TCS each day. My offers have never suffered by playing at different CET properties. I still receive suites when I ask and my room charges are always comped on the back end.

That is my understanding too. I don't worry too much as our play is between 2500-5000TC/daily with most play at Planet Hollywood and Caesars.. It was a fun way to pick up a few points and really walk into a couple of casinos we haven't been in, in a long time..........Rick

I'm looking forward to doing the Quest next week. With that said, I usually spread my play across CET properties anyways. With that said, I've barely spent a dime in Paris and Rio over the years, so this promotion will at least give them a little of my business

We plan to hit at least eight if not all nine in February. Why not? It will be fun. :)

Ours hit the web site fairly fast, we are going to Windsor in Feb and that will probably be it for the first quarter. Just booked Memorial Day in NOLA so won't be traveling at all in March. Will have 9 badges and that is fine 2250 TCs closer to 7*................Rick

That is not my understanding at all. ADT is property specific, MDV is "market", so all of the Las Vegas play WOULD be combined for your daily tier credit amount and as long as you do your normal play your MDV will not suffer, for sure. MDV drives OFFERS, so yes, playing at the different properties is not going to affect your offers.

However, since ADT is property specific, you can be hurt by only playing a little bit at each property. For instance, I have a high ADT at Caesars Palace and Harrah's in Las Vegas, and still have a good ADT at Planet Hollywood. I don't play at Harrah's or Planet Hollywood often, but when I do go there and book an offer online (without a host) I am always given an upgrade. Therefore, I would not want to dilute my property specific ADT for a promo like this.

I suppose if you always book through a host it may not matter, but CET is pretty big with the "suite committee" BS, so I would still worry about diluting your property specific rating.

I definitely think CET players should be aware of this possibility.

So, can you are more than one badge per day? I was unclear on this from the rules. You can earn 9 in Vegas in one day if you want to? Thanks.

I earned the Harrah's and Caesars AC badges in one gambling day (6 am- 559am).

We worked through the Strip casinos on January 1 and got 8 badges. It was sort of fun to casino hop with a purpose. Didn't win in any of them though  but had plenty of drinks :drunk:.

Since I did not know where a bunch of Caesars' casinos were located, I went through the Quest website and added all of them to a google map. I now know where Bossier City and Metropolis are.

I made the map public in case anyone else is interested in visually seeing where all 36 casinos are. Even Steelers fans can use it :)

If the markers for a location merged when zoomed out to the country view level, I colored them purple and added the number of casinos in the market to the casino names (9 LV, 2 Tahoe, 3 AC, 2 Council Bluffs, 2 Tunica, 2 Bossier City).

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lPJT6fGe_IQko2Rem-LLlNBXY_0&usp=sharing

    Hope the map is helpful.

I'm flying out to Vegas after work today and staying at the Rio, so I plan to knock out my first 9 this weekend. Then a road trip through Baltimore to AC will net me 5 more. And I plan to hit Reno/Tahoe for skiing, so 3 more. So that's 4,250 tier points in my Quest for 7*.

Thanks - Great Map!!! Not sure if we are going to fit in many more but a road trip might be fun. Atlantic City and Baltimore are within reach.

    Go Stillers!
