can you order the $2.00 hot dog at bar with $1.00 beer
Is it safe during the daytime

Hey Danny I was there in January on a Friday night until about 1:30am. I felt safe and really enjoyed the place. Ray I believe was her name gave me great service.

Stage Door is 100% safe to me. It is right behind Cromwell and right next to Batista's (I know that's not spelled right). It's also a quick cut across the street to Bally's.

You can walk in the back way to the Flamingo main entrance or into Cromwell. I feel safe here.

Its a real life dive bar, not a hipster version of one so you get what you get when there. Keep that in mind and you will be fine, the place is fun.

Love the place, some real characters in there. Been awhile since I was there, always used to head down Flamingo to stop at Bourbon Street and Maxim and would always stop in Stage Door as well.

I make a stop at Stage Door every trip and always enjoy it. Cheap beer, shots, and hod dogs. It's mostly locals, with some tourists mixed in. I have sat next to a fair share of interesting folks in there over the years. I stay at the Flamingo so the walk is easy- down to the end of Linq Promenade, take a right at the roller, and walk 2 blocks.

Been going there for years, I miss the beer and a shot for $2 though, and they used to have more food options.

I've met some shady folks that's for sure, someone got shot in the ass in that parking lot a couple years back, but other than that it's pretty safe lol

Yes went in January but it was like 1am quite seedy even had to take my hat off per security
Want to try during the day for cheap Bert/dog

My brother and I were just there last week for the beef dog and a PBR for $3. Walked in at about 1pm. Felt totally safe. They have a security guard that's like 300#'s and an 80" chest. The place was 99% dudes, so if you bring a chick, keep her in your lap.

*edit*

Took this pic of the entrance door. Make sure you pull your pants up:

Been there many times with my wife and never had any problems. We usually do a few shots and a beer or three and then move on, but make at least a visit or two every trip

I've visited many times. It's fine so long as you don't expect fancy. Those bartenders work very hard. I'm sure I couldn't do it. It's often full of both convention people and construction workers. It's all good.

Be prepared for an ID check at any time. Seems like they check everyone after a certain time of day.

I too make it a point to make a Stage Door stop whenever I'm in Vegas. Was there with two guy friends a few weeks ago...it was fairly crowded, we were standing, and the bartender randomly threw a lime wedge at my friend! That was great. She said it was because he had to buy a shot, but I think she just did it because he's a "sport coat guy" who looked quite out of place in the joint. (His pants were pulled up, thankfully.)

going in 2 weeks will try $2 hot dog a buck beer can I order at bar?

At least they specified that the Pull Your Pants Up rule doesn't apply to kids under 3.
Personally, I enjoy seeing a hot girl with her pants around her hips and her underwear showing! So, that needs to be added to the sign.

What are the pay tables like on the VP in there?
I love the Stage Door and spend a lot of time there when I'm in town, but the VP pay tables are awful e.g. 6/5 Bonus Poker. They actually do have a players card.
