Hello! I posted about some of my plans already on a previous thread, but now that I’m in the air, figured I’d start a TR. In brief: My wife and I are going together and getting into Cromwell late tonight. Tomorrow afternoon, she’ll branch off for a bachelorette party (they’re staying at Cosmo). I know the group and will go say hi, but after that, this becomes a mostly solo trip. On Friday, I check out of Cromwell, and double-booked Aria and The D. More on that later, I’m being indecisive. Friday night, I booked a cabana for myself at Stadium Swim to watch my White Sox and also the Stanley Cup—excited for that. Saturday, I want to check out the Arts District based on the advice I got in the other thread, but I’m indecisive. Bankroll’s about $2500 here and I’ve got a little freeplay to burn. Stay tuned for what I think will be a lot of pictures of VP and a little slots/roulette. Just a few hours to go!
Checked into Cromwell—always love how short of a walk it is from the cab to check-in. We have a pretty slick suite. For now, sipping a drink in the room, deciding whether to go explore or just enjoy the room.
Oh yeah, it’s a nightmare. I’ll be playing much better paytables this weekend, but hey, when you want to play for a few minutes on your way to getting coffee for your spouse…
Picked up 375 Tier Credits, up about $450 after this session. Going to work a bit in the room and see what the afternoon has in store.
6/5 JoB is not as bad as people think. It has a solid 95% return, beats almost all slots. And, it has one of the lowest variances.
Hit one more slot on the way back to the room, got this on the first spin. This is by a mile the most successful spin I’ve ever had on this game:
Decided it’d be fun to sweat the Sox game tonight as this trip becomes a solo trip in a couple of hours:
Before the season started I was like for sure the Sox were going to go over the season win total and I should bet it. I didn’t bet it and glad I didn’t now
Hah—it has been a struggle. Poor free agency decisions, players regressing, and an unreal number of injuries have put the White Sox in a tough spot. If we can’t win a series against Baltimore (who’s been weirdly feisty this season), we have big problems.
Two different runners have been thrown out at the plate in four innings, which is how it goes when you bet the over…
6/5 JoB is redundant on CET bartops. Bonus Poker is the exact same paytable except quads pay 150 instead of 125. There is absolutely no reason to play JoB on CET bartops. Bonus every time. Unless you feel like playing DDB or something. Have a good trip @DoubleDoink!
