Trips to Las Vegas
76
Late last night/early this morning. Two stabbed. Apparently gang related.

Wonderful people we let into our lives!

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Police say that a stabbing took place at Paris Las Vegas around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Two victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

So far no suspects have been identified, though police say there may be loose gang connections to the incident.

Keep raising parking fees and this is what happens. Message board threads and strongly worded letters are only going to go so far; sometimes it takes a stabbing or two to get your point across. ATTICA!! ATTICA!!

Sad to hear of this happening, especially if innocent folks were the target of this!

I hope this isn't a sign of more Eastside [Cannery] vs. West[gate] violence!

RICHARD

Sounds like they need more Le Security at Le Valet to stop Les Criminals from engaging in La Violence.

Does anyone REALLY think parking fees have anything to do with this?

Oh, and you DON'T?! Hell, I just put a broken bottle in a bartender's eye for not giving me my "free" drink - said my light was "red". Yeah, well, so's your eye, buddy. ;) (I put the winky-eye this time so there's no confusion on my sarcasm. No, I don't think it had to do with parking fees. Probably.)

So, @TedCheddy , that's a maybe? :poke:

Like a very large percentage of murders and other violent attacks - those involved know each other and the victim is not some random person.

This attack is why, as I have gotten older, I realized I didn't need to be out on the Strip after midnight. Too many crazies and drunks. I think what cured me was being harassed for money by two guys in the Harrah's/ Mirage crosswalk at 3 am one Saturday night. Not a cop in sight.

I saw a security guard get yelled at and almost attacked when he was trying to get someone to pay for their parking. People can get crazy!

Body found in the landscaping at Ceasar's today, and a woman shot in the back of the head in front of the Dollar Tree @ Flamingo and Maryland last night. I stop in that shopping center almost every trip since I usually stay at Platinum right behind Bally's on Flamingo. Shit's getting crazy in Vegas.

Wow, I've been at that crosswalk a thousand times.

Wow, I didn't realize all these things happening... lots of crazies for sure

Buddy of mine is a police officer in Vegas. He has said many times that there are more officers pre capita on and one block around the strip than anywhere else in Vegas. They are doing what they can but he has been clear that if you go off the tourist areas, its pretty bad.

Yea, lots of murders nationwide.

Most of times I seen police officers on strip and security seems pretty good throughout casinos. I feel fine walking late at night on strip lots of drunks of course but it's Vegas but again to see some of those crazies it's nutz!!!
